Worst Club I've ever been to. Never been to such a terrible club. Don't ever go here!!!! Trust me! My friend had a birthday party and a table all set up and put me along with her friends on the guest list. I show up to the door and say that I'm here for my friend's birthday party, she has a table, and my name is this. The little man at the door was like o well you gotta wait in the line before you get in. Then this is the kicker, I wait for an hour in the line until my friend comes out and bitches at the little door man with the list to let us in. The guy was a joke and club is so unprofessional. I finally get in after the long ass wait and they tell me the guest list is closed and that I have to pay the 15 dollar cover fee. WTF!?!?! What's the point of being on a guest list if you gotta pay cover and wait in line. MAKES NO SENSE because District is obviously full of retards that don't know how to cater to their customers and just try to make a quick buck by making you wait in line so the guest list closes to make you pay cover price. Honestly people, don't go to this club unless you want to get robbed by these dumbasses. There are much better places to have fun at in Boston. DISTRICT SUCKS ASS!

OUTSOURCING. The BIGGEST problem with this club IS that the owners contract out their middle mgmt/service people to a 2nd rate 'Temp concierge agency', called 6one7. WHEN the District hired their own it was open 7 days with FULL menu--NOW only 4 days with LIMITED finger foods.

When your servers/security/doorman/bartenders are NOT District's employees but employees of another company WHERE are their loyalties? NOT to the District or its customers.

Contracting out services with people with NO benefits will always lead to bad service. ALWAYS!

Worst place ever. OMG!,This got to be the worst bar/club I'd ever been to, and I party all over the place from LA, NYC, Vegas to Miami.

1st. The fat, gross meatloaf look alike door man should be fire on the spot. He was rude and disgusting, who in the right mind actually hired that mess working at the door? He constantly yelling, pushing everyone, and acting like he was working at the door of the white house or something, what a joke!

2nd, the crowd inside were very sketchy, most of the girls inside were busted.

3rd, took forever to get a drink, and the drink sucks, tasted nothing like what I ordered.

I do not recommend this place to anyone, but I do recommend you all walk by this place and look at that fat doorman and have a laugh. Watch him work with that little tiny magic marker and yell. hahahaha

This place sucks. We went there for my friend's birthday, we didn't have to wait in line but few of us were smoking outside before we went in. We were there watching the fat, sweaty doorman with white gross hair almost made us puke. He was so rude and ridiculous when he was working at the door.

The fat door man kept yelling and pushing people at the line, I thought he was trying to start a fight. When we were escorted in the door, he told the people in the front of the line to move aside and try to squeeze us in the front line when we could of walk in from the other side or the front where there isn't anyone standing, that was something we didnt' get?

When we got in to the place, it wasn't even half full, but there was a line of about 10-12 outside, and it was way pass 11pm. It's pretty inside, but the service sucks, the crowd were a bit ghetto, but we understood why since we saw the fat door man kept letting in his friends in to cut that 12 people line.

I wouldn't come back unless I had to for something else's birthday, I wouldn't recommend this place to any of my friends.

One of My Favoritesss. The Decor is amazing. It has so much detail and thought put into it... there is absolutely nothing else like it in Boston.. it's classy and funky... i can't even give an accurate description that would do it justice.

The crowd is different each night... like with every other place in the world. There are always beautiful people... and you will most likely run into a celebrity or 12... but everyone can enjoy themselves at District.. you just need to check out the particular night that is best suited for you.

Do not go there!. Went there on a Wednesday for my friends birthday. The place was empty until about 1am and then the crowd started to get a little rough. The only reason I stayed was because my friends were all there. Then this drunk guy came over to put the moves on me and my friend and literally sat on my drink, spilling it all over me. One of the guys I was with confronted him about it and he was the one to get kicked out?? Then I went to say something to the guy about it and my friend and I got kicked out!!?? I had had only two drinks that night including the one the guy knocked over. This manager who had not even talked to me previously is trying to tell me I'm drunk. How would he even know anyway, this being the first time we had talked?? I just left because I was not going to cause a scene but I have never been so angry. I work as a manager in hospitality and whoever this manager is he clearly does not know how to do his job. Ladies, if you want to be accosted on by thuggish, unattractive, drunk men, get your drink spilled all over you and then get kicked out, by all means enjoy. Guys, if you want to hang out with a crowd of mostly guys, few attractive women have a blast. I will defiantly take my business elsewhere.

Never again!. Went here on a Friday night (apparently not a good night..unless all nights are as empty) for a friend's birthday. Paid too much for a table and bottles with few mixing options and horribly flat tonic water! The music was bad and though I approached the DJ many times he only played the song I asked when the lights went on at the end of the night. He said something about not being allowed to switch up the playlists but wouldn't you want to make the customers happy?? Won't be going here again!

extremely rude staff. I've been to District a couple of times, and all I can say is OVERRATED. The music isn't very good (I'm no even sure that the have a DJ.) But most of all, the staff is incredibly rude. The bouncers are complete a-hole's to say the least. It's surprising to see who they let in and who they kick out. This is not worth the wait in line. Not to mention its a terrible location.

DO NOT HERE!. Awful place, filled with thugs, fights going on constantly, bad food, bad drinks, CHEESY decor. They have a fake velvet rope to make you think the spot is so desirable, but it's not. Avoid like the plague! I would have chosen Zero stars if I could.

Awful - do not go here. Awful food, horrrrrrrrible service, nasty crowd. Too bad too because the atmosphere is pretty cool. Also, is it neccessary to have a matron in a 2-stall bathroom?!? Do not order food here!!! We were brought the wrong food and it was so disgusting..flat bread pizza consisted of a bunch of slopped onions on a cracker. The spring rolls were so gross too, tasted like leaves. Weak drinks too! I would NEVER go back.
