In Short – Downstairs from Remington's, students and young professionals laugh the night away while consuming cheap drinks. Located around the corner from The Alley's many nightlife destinations, the Vault provides an affordable spot to grab some laughs. Fridays and Saturdays see local comedians hit the stage, while Sundays are reserved for an open mic night.
A special surprise in Boston

I've been to Dick's Beantown Comedy Vault for a few shows on a few different weekends. The shows were always packed and very fun.
I was pleasantly surprised when I went to a show on a Monday night and although I was expecting it to be a slow night, it was still packed and a terrific show.
This place is something special.
- Pros: Great comedians, good prices
- Cons: Parking
Group Nite Out
by smorris3 at Citysearch
My husband and I recently went out with 3 other couples for dinner and a show at the Comedy Vault and we had a blast. We saw a show headlined by Doherty himself with a few other comedians. Everyone in our group was roaring, and fortunately he even picked on my husband (haha). A little fancier of a dinner before the show would have been nicer, but i would def do this again.
- Pros: Fit large group in small place
- Cons: only pub food, tight fit for people walking by tables
Good Time

I recently attended Beantown Comedy for the second time in my life and I had a great time. I went on a wednesday night when Paul Nardizzi was performing. I couldn't believe how packed the place was for a weekday night. He was extremely funny and the smaller acts before him still had me laughing. At $12 to get in, it was worth every dollar. Its great to know there is a place offering quality shows 7 nights a week. I was even impressed with the food, though I wish there was more than just appetizers available during the show, as dinner must be eaten upstairs before the show.
- Pros: Good Location, Good Acts, Restaurant Upstairs
- Cons: Couldn't eat full meal in club, had to eat upstairs
