Cute space, good sandwiches. One tends to associate the North End with large decadent dinners. Sure most of the restaurants serve lunch, but most often I prefer something a little more quaint and casual for the daytime hours. Shame they don't have more seating, b/c there's definitely demand. My friend and I got portabella sandwich. Good, not amazing, but it was tasty. The chocolate chip cookie was fantastic. Fresh baked, and a hefty dose of salt, which complemented the chocolate beautifully. And the staff ARE so friendly. Makes such a difference.

A small, friendly shop with an exciting palette. A chalkboard menu of delicious made to order sandwiches and salads. Cannot be disappointed. I highly recommend the portabella mushroom with roasted red peppers and the warm Cubano sandwich with pulled pork and toasted brioche...amazing.

Delicious little hole in the wall!. After a recommendation from a friend, I decided to give Volle Nolle a try. I'm so glad I did because this little hole in the wall is DELICIOUS!! I went for breakfast the first time and had their steel cut oatmeal which was amazing- grilled bananas, blueberries and spiced nuts, yummy!! And all for $4!! I went back the next week and had the grilled chicken sandwich which was also phenomenal - roasted red peppers, mozzarella cheese, spinach, it was a hearty sandwich without being too heavy. The restaurant itself it tiny, with just 4 or so tables, but it doesn't feel small. The owners seem to know everyone coming in so it has a nice neighborhood feeling, but don't worry if you're a newbie, they were just as welcoming to me!! If you're looking for some tasty and reasonable food and aren't feeling like pasta, this is the place to go!!

Editorial Review. Casual North End breakfast and lunch spot whips up straightforward sandwiches for on-the-go tourists and local workers.
