Despite the numerous poor reviews of Yolanda's I decided to go anyhow. I figured people were just being a bit overzealous in their expectations and I could perhaps find the 'diamond in the rough' dress here. Unfortunately I'm sad to report that I did not have a positive experience here. The ambience at the store leaves something to be desired, however I was not ready to judge based on looks alone....if they had beautiful dresses at reasonable prices I could overlook the tacky decor. I don't remember the name of the woman who helped me, however she wasn't much help at all. She didn't do a good job of listening to what I wanted and instead pointed out dresses that she thought were beautiful, but didn't match my tastes. I told her upfront what my budget was, but she continually brought out dresses significantly higher than what I was looking to spend. She also insisted I looked beautiful in dresses that did not flatter me, which felt quite pushy. Once she realized I wasn't falling in love with any of the higher priced dresses she was trying to pressure me into, I felt she stopped paying attention to me all together. I didn't like that I couldn't see their inventory of dresses - even at places where they store dresses in the back they can at least show you a catalog of what's available. Leaving it up to her to decide what to bring me was a waste of time. I still come across people who have loved dresses they have purchased here, however overall I found the place a bit shady (they charge you if you come more than three times to try on dresses - while I had no desire to return after my first visit - it just shows this place is ready to nickle and dime you).

Yoland's has the worst customer service I have experienced. The sales people are dishonest, and would not return my calls. I found this place to be manipulative and unfriendly. I would encourage you to look elsewhere!
