Editorial Review for Lincoln – by Citysearch Staff
In Short
Named after the first bar to occupy this site (roughly 60 years ago), the Lincoln is popular with the young professionals who have gravitated towards Waltham, as well as the of-age college students that live nearby. Music aficionados enjoy live performances and a smartly-chosen jukebox. Patrons stay satiated thanks to designer cocktails and standard bar food.

A perfect place when looking for a bar where you can just relax with friends and enjoy a good drink. A classy retreat from your average meat market. Decor wise, antique pictures from historic Waltham hang on red walls. The dark wood bar has seats for 12, and has a classic brass railing. Above the bar there is a pair of high def flat screens showing the games of the night. The knowlegable staff are fast and attentive, serving up your beverage of choice. The specialty drink list ranges from new adeptations on classics like The Lincoln (home infused raspberry vodka martini) to a Charles River (as the menu says: "You don't want to know"), which complements a good selection of beer, wine, and liquor. Food is your standard fare like burgers and hot dogs, but the staff doesn't mind if you bring in something from somewhere else.
Pros: Atmosphere
Cons: Can get crowded later in the night
