Boston >Bao Bao Bakery & Cafe
“Sound weird, but they come in fun shapes and sizes.”
“yummy bakery in Chinatown district”
“They had a good variety of beve.”
“highly recommend going here and the people are friendly.”
food, mediocre (what do you expect from a place like this?); service, tolerable; management, horrible.
one time we went to get breakfast (it was 7 or 8 am), trying to order from their list of some 10 mix-and-match items. they were out of (or didn't have) at least 3, and one of the tea options is not being offered anymore, but nobody bothered to scratch these items off the one-page "menus" that are posted everywhere. why create unnecessary stress for both your staff and patrons? doesn't take much to start off one's day with the wrong foot.
Chinatown bakery and cafe specializes in Taiwanese and Chinese traditional baked goods..
One of Chinatown's most popular bakeries, Bao Bao is called upon to whip up special cakes for numerous birthdays and office parties. Homesick expats stop in to enjoy freshly baked buns (fillings include sweet milk cream and cinammon) and Taiwanese curry turnovers. Other offerings include ice cream cakes and Taiwanese breads.
