In Short – While the South End is considered one of the city's hippest neighborhood, it lacks an abundance of suitable nightlife options. 28 Degrees, with its swank interior and designer cocktails (Pomegranate Cosmo), fits the bill. The wildly eclectic menu contains upscale finger foods like Maine Lobster "sliders," avocado and steak tacos, and an Andouille sausage, tomato and oregano pizza.

NEVER AGAIN!

by simon311b

Though I really like the room and the fact that it's a real lounge, I will never go back to this place. I went there twice, and the first time I liked the special drinks and bartender but thought the host had a bit of an attitude. The second time I went there, the host, this time I think he was one of the owner, had the biggest attitude I have ever encountered. Bigger than anyplace I've been in NYC, LA, Monte Carlo or Ibiza! He's a little older and has such a sense of entitlement. Wow. What happened to customer service?

  • Pros: room
  • Cons: bad customer service and ownership

Best night after a long day!

by BackBayloverofthesouthend

Five friends and I went to 28 Degrees to begin to unwind after a long day of Christmas shopping. This was the first time we have come, but certainly will not be our last! From the dollar oysters to the best looking caring staff! Great Job! The amazing cocktail list had us forgetting about the long lines at Copley. Thank you so much 28!

big flavor

by siesta22

Dropped in last Wednesday night for some of the dollar duxbury oysters and ended up staying for an amazing dinner. Their menu offered large and small portions which allowed us to taste many different dishes, that is the best way to eat in my opinion. we had tuna tartare, which was the best I've had in this small town of Boston! The cappicola pizza had a crispy thin crust, and the lobster sliders put B&G's to shame. The stand out dish was the braised short rib....ummmm...um so good. The crowd was diverse and the drinks were all about seasonal freshness. A must visit for all!

  • Pros: great food at reasonable prices
  • Cons: sometimes a little loud
