FOooooooooooooooood. The food here is really remarkable. Fresh, unique, wonderfully flavorful and satisfying.

I recommend the Sole Baked fish or Kylebyaka. The fish in both is tender, perfectly cooked and flavorful like you will not believe.

The Georgian salad is incredibly refreshing.

This is currently my favorite restaurant in the city! I'd give it 6 stars if I could.

Great place, Best Russian food in NE. This place grew on me and I now LOVE it. Don't be shy, Fred the cook/owner is a great guy, ask to try his infused vodka. If you like herring, get the herring app. Karsky entre is to die for, and make sure to get a crepe desert with his home made preserves. This is a small place, usually not jumping, but very worth it if you want some high quality food.

Best Russian in Brookline. Paid a visit to Stoli over the weekend due to the good editorial review. Was thoroughly impressed by the atmosphere. I've eaten at many restaurants in the Brookline area and I must confess this one is by far my favorite. I'm no Russian-food connosoir, yet, I was impressed. Stoli has my vote.

Solid Russian food & drink in Brookline. We went to Stoli seeking a night out to try authentic Russian food and drink. After looking at the menu, we decided to order lots of hot appetizers and have "Russian Tapas" in order to try a greater variety of dishes. All were delicious and tasty. Samsas (seemed to be a Russian type enpanada), pelmeni (Russian ravioli-type dumplings) and the savory borsch were the highlights. All dishes were made with fresh herbs.

For dessert we tried the fruit blintzes -- my first time eating a blintz, but certainly not the last. They were fresh, fruity, warm and delicious.

For beverages, we tried the Russian beer (Baltika) and the fruity Georgian red wine. Both recommended and truly authentic. I look forward to delving into the infused vodkas on our next visit.

Service was attentive and friendly. We went on a Friday night at 8PM and tables were available. The decor is simple but nice, in a bistro style. However, it was too brightly lit. I'm convinced that if this place had better mood lighting with candles it would be packed and would make a great date place. However, since it's so bright, it's a better spot to meet up with friends for a casual dinner. Overall, our experience was favorable and we will return.

Horrible place!!! Not recommended. Horrible place!!!

We were on January, 5th, 2008 just for a regular lunch. . When we have entered the place was empty - one table has been borrowed only. The people ate up a last dish, their faces were sad. We should be leave at once. But unfortunately we decided to stay.

The meal was average, reminds Crimean food prepared very quickly (but not fresh) for one-time visitors.

In spite of we have asked to accept the order from us as soon as possible the waitress has not approached us until she has calculated previous table. (She did nothing all this time.). She didn?t smile at all, not even once for clients, and all the time she is behaving like she is our client not we are!!! She answered our questions very unwillingly and almost rude.WE FINISHED FIRST DISH AND THE WAITRESS DIDN'T CLEARED AWAY. THEN SHE BROUGHT NEXT DISH AND SHE WAS STANDING NEAR THE TABLE AND WAITING UNTIl WE CLEARED THE PLATES AFTER FIRST DISH AWAY OURSELVES! After she got a smoking break at the front door (outside, thanks at list for this) she didn?t ask us anything (like ?Is everything OK!?), but she began to clean the near by table with chemical agent while we were still eating!

This ?Stoli Bar & Restaurant? is the worst example of the Soviet service which now you won?t meet even in the former USSR.

Cranberry Vodka was good. home made cranberry vodka was good. i had the lamb cutlets which were excellent, but my partner had a pork chop that was sooo overcooked, i was shocked that it left the kitchen. we sent it back. the place was empty when we went in, so it lacked atmosphere. OK value, would not reccommend.

Restaurant worth a trip. I went to Stoli for the first time last week. I enjoyed my appetizer (seared yellowfin tuna, one of the menu specials), and the apple pie dessert was tasty too. My friend had the trout (also a special), which I thought was very good as well. Third person tried georgian salad (they served a large portion) and pork chop for entry and was very satisfied. Next time Id love to try their sturgeon.

They have an extensive menu so you'll likely find something that works for you.

Overall, I thought the food was pretty good and the wine list interesting.
