Expensive and not very nice...

Sorry Dr. Perle - I always think carefully before writing bad reviews but in this case it was warranted.

I didn't have a good experience - he was in a massive hurry, in and out all the time, and pretty judgmental when I told him I was scared of dentists and hadn't been in a while. He made no effort to put me at ease. Then he was impatient and dismissive at my questions when he told me I would need extensive (and expensive) work. I was really nice in the way I asked, but he was condescending and seemed to really resent having to spend 5 mins with me before I signed away $4000 for ONE TOOTH. - oh yeah, he's very very expensive. I didn't go back - I went somewhere else and it cost half that price to fix it. And it didn't need gum surgery - which he also said I needed.

Obviously some people have had a great experience with Dr. Perle, which is nice - I guess I caught a bad day.

Superb dentist, skilled, courteous, professional and kind.

I'm usually terrified of dentists - I've had a lot of different dentists in a lot of different places I've lived. But I recommend Dr. Perle without hesitation - he's simply the best dentist I've ever visited. He's been taking care of my teeth for years now and I think he's marvelous. I hope he never retires! His staff are great, kind, thoughtful and courteous, and his office works hard to accommodate patient hours, but that's customer service. Dr. Perle himself is a gifted, skilled dentist who takes pride and pleasure in his work. I don't know a bigger compliment I can pay a professional than that. I consider it an act of friendship to a friend to point them towards him if they need a good dentist. He's the best. I moved years ago but I still drive across Boston to see him - he's worth the 60 mile trip.

Excellent Dentist!

I was in terrible pain when I found Rofe Dental on the web. Dr. Perle called right back, as promised on his voicemail. He is incredibly friendly, sympathetic and very professional. Has all the latest equipment and is very experienced (and the clinic is cool, with bonsai plants.) Dr. Perle took care of the emergency and my partner and I are now regular patients, and recommend Dr. Perle, Dr. Kano, Dr. Savitt, and the entire staff as really excellent healers. The patients are really diverse and they treat everyone with respect.
