“We brought the paper and read while other people worked on their computers and ate ice cream and muffin tops (points for lack of gluttonly and reminding me of one of my favorite Seinfeld episodes).”
“best ice coffee but their staff is a bit ditzy”

best ice coffee but their staff is a bit ditzy.
I love their ice coffee which is why i go there as much as I can however they need to think about hiring someone with a brain. the asian girl there forgets to give me coffee about half the time. i would pay her and she will turn around to get me my coffee till something interupts her (an employee talking, a mess to clean up, a bad song she must change) and forgets to give me my coffee so I stand there like an idiot trying to get her attention again. Annoying!
the bagels are really good too.
Best Best Best coffee, food, and hangout spot in the city.. Boston Beanstock is the best North End hangout of all time. As a Salem St. resident, I go here daily for coffee/food/snacks/a chat. The staff are the most friendly people around and the service is OUTSTANDING. Once I asked for ketchup for my breakfast sandwich and when they said they were out, the owner went to a store across the street and bought a bottle. The coffee is to die for (insider tip: order the iced coffee-- they brew it specifically as iced coffee instead of just putting ice in regular coffee and they melt the sugar in hot coffee first... favorite thing ever. It's the best iced coffee around). The muffin tops- amazing, the panini's and breakfast sandwiches-- even better. But the best thing of all is seriously the service and the atmosphere-- you can't top that.
Editorial Review by Citysearch Editors. Cozy North End coffeeshop sells fresh baked goods, hot panini sandwiches and inventive coffee drinks.
kia617. A cut above the typical North End espressoteria, this coffee shop is an amazing addition to the North End! Featuring Wi-Fi, a wood-burning stove and comfortable couches, this is the coziest "coffee bar" in Boston. I had a lsoy atte and one of their homemade pannini (definitely get the Big Tony!), and my friend, the tea drinker, got a big ol' mug of tea. We brought the paper and read while other people worked on their computers and ate ice cream and muffin tops (points for lack of gluttonly and reminding me of one of my favorite Seinfeld episodes). Run, don't walk... and sit for awhile.
