Thee Best Restaurant in Blackstone Valley. There aren't many restaurants I can say bring the "wow" factor every time I go there, but Alicante is one, which is rare so far outside the city. Many well-known restaurants have been living off their old reputations and fall short when you finally give them a try, but Alicante pleases every time. Located on beautiful Lake Nipmuk, ask for a window table for the best views. Or you could eat right at the bar, where you could have a more casual experience. All bartenders are so friendly, funny and very professional. It's interesting to watch them work, and you still get the great views of the lake! They change up the menu very often, so you always have different choices. I've found that it doesn't matter what you order, you will be pleased. The presentation is wonderful. The mix of textures and flavors truely make Alicante one of the best gourmet experiences around, from soup and appetizers to the fabulous desserts. The wait staff is very experienced and friendly. You can dress casaully or more formally and feel comfortable. As mentioned in other reviews, it's best to come early or later, as the parking is limited. Otherwise you may have to park along the side of Route 16, but surprisingly they've had police details lately for safety during peak hours. The parking and wait during peak hours do not lower my rating though. They easily deserve all 5 stars!

Outstanding, don't miss this one. Alicante's is one of the best restaurants I have ever been too. The service is outstanding. From the moment you are seated, you are treated as if you were the only customer in the room. We have been there on four occasions and the service has never changed. The food is outstanding. The presentation of the food is so beautiful, you almost do not want to eat it.

When you go to Alicante's, ask for their homemade chips. You'll never eat a regular chip again, these are to die for.

The pricing is that of an upscale restaurant. If I had one complaint - they do not take reservations. So get their before 6:00 pm or after 8:00 pm or plan to wait.

a favorite!. I go to this restaurant on a regular basis- it is definitely worth the price! the hostess Heather is so friendly and always strikes up a friendly conversation. You have two waiters who are very attentive and knowledgeable about the food. Although they often get very busy, we never feel rushed. Food comes out in a timely manner and it is some of the best food I have ever had.

wonderful experience. a wonderful experience, great time and the veiw is stunning.
