I can't believe how impressed I was. Visited Lightwave Tattoo for the first time on Saturday, Aug 8 as a walk-in client. After explaining what I wanted to the very helpful and friendly staff, I looked through a few books and chose an artist based on some of her previous work. Now I have 6 other tattoos, in various stages of completion and with varying degrees of happiness but the tattoo today was very important to me. I met with Xstina, explained the concept of what I wanted and was told to come back in about an hour. I asked for a tornado with angel wings on the back of my calf, curling around the outside edge of my leg to come to a stop above my foot with 2 halos at the base.

When I came back, I was utterly blown away. Xstina took my concept and drew it out in such beautiful detail, capturing the essence of what my tattoo represented in a way better than I could have visualised it in my head. She was upbeat, friendly and made sure that I was comfortable before beginning the work. I had several friends with me who told me later that she was very fun and bubbly during the tattoo itself (I fell asleep, but then again I always do). I would highly recommend both Lightwave Tattoo and Xstina herself for any and all tattoo work you may need to have done.

outstanding tattoo parlor. i got my first tattoo here and i'm extremely happy with my choice of location. light wave has a friendly staff, from the minute you walk in until the minute you leave. i had joe and he did an awesome job on an upper back tattoo of a family coat of arms. the environment was relaxing, i had a friend come with me, and the whole experience was awesome. if you're a first-timer or looking for another tattoo, head to light wave!
