“It's such a great atmosphere, along with the dance floor there you still have access to the other 2 floors, Jillians and Lucky Strike.”
“My chocolate donut dessert was overly rich; I didn?”
“It's possible that private parties have reserved EVERY SINGLE ONE in the place, so really the only thing you can do is eat bad food and drink bad beer.”
“Strong, tasty drinks and very talkative.”
“If you're looking for something to do, or you want to watch the Red Sox, Celtics, Patriots, Bruins or any other nationally televised game it's a great place to hang out and get some drinks, maybe play a little pool and just relax.”
“Managers are attentive and accomodating with anything you want to watch.”
“overpriced and really nothing special versus any other decent restaurant in Boston.”
Atmosphere is amazing. Atmosphere is amazing. I've never been in such a classy bowling alley.
My favorite place for bowling. This is definitely my favorite place for bowling. The group of friends I went with had a blast here chatting & laughing as we bowled. They don't allow those annoying 'tims' style boots as well, which keeps everyone coming in looking neat & sociable, which is a big plus. None of my friends dress like that anyway, so it would never be an issue for any of us at the door, but we saw the bouncers turning sketchballs in ghetto gear away, and were pretty happy they weren't going to be sharing the space with us.
Had a good time. Just hosted a fund raiser last Thursday. Had a good time with friends and family. Wait staff was decent and bowling was great.
So much better than other places. We went to Lucky Strike last Saturday night and had a great time. We had to wait for the lanes but had drinks and appetizers while we waited. This place is so much better than other places we have gone to bowl, and the dj who is right there in the middle of everything had us dancing at the lanes. We will definitely go back to see our new favorite bartender and hope our friends at Lane 9 will come back too.
I really like the atmosphere. I really like spending a couple hours here playing pool. I really like the atmosphere that surrounds shooting pool.
Awesome!. In the Allston/Brighton area with nothing to do at 11pm, Jillians is extremely promising to keep you entertained. It's a great place to just go to and chill/eat/grab a couple of drinks. The bowling lanes on the 3rd floor are awesome: The lighting is dark, the lanes are lit up in a particular way, and there are couches/booths around as well to lounge.
Great game day choice. I did Tequila Rain during world cup as well, and the service was prompt and the waiters were very friendly and knowledgeable, so overall, this is one of my favorite spots in the Kenmore area, and a great game day choice. There's always lots of fans and the atmosphere is pumped up in Tequila Rain the day of a home game.
Very interesting. Very interesting to go to a place that has all three of these things combined in one place. The bar was a great place to knock a couple brews down. They have a decent selection, but kept to my favorite beer. They have plenty of tables and seats around, so finding a place to sit is no problem. For all you smokers, there's an upstairs lounge area at the top with heat lamps so you don't have to fight the cold weather to have a cig (you know what I'm talking about, switch hands after two drag method). As far as the bowling lanes, there are a couple lanes on the first level where the bar and pool tables are located, but they have plenty more lanes above. he pool tables are all 9-foot tables and not the bar boxes that I normally see in California.
Great place to relax. Ended up staying at Jillian's for the night. That's what this place does to you...it makes you stay foreverrrr since there's so many activities to do. Jillian's is a chill venue to go relax with some long time buddies.
