Citysearch reviews are a bunch of hooey. Not only do employees write dozens of good reviews for themselves, they also have the power to remove bad reviews. I think we've all had experiences where we've gone to a place that received 5-star reviews and had a 1-star experience. I've actually seen the employees at one salon (Festoon, Berkeley) reading/writing the citysearch reviews while sitting in the back of the shop. This place is closed, but the rave reviews continue. Let this be a lesson! Ask your friends for recommendations.
