Disappointing bakery.
The sandwich I've had from there was pretty good, and the coffee isn't bad. Their baked goods, soups and salads are horribly disappointing. The baked good taste stale and not freshly baked by any means. The soup is flavorless and the salad has gross old lettuce in it. Overall sorelle looks good, but tastes bad.

Great sandwiches and nice staff.
A reliable lunch stop - good sandwiches, and staff is always friendly and efficient. Coffee is excellent too. Many of the baked goods are good, especially breakfast pastries, but brownies are a little too cakey for my taste.

Young professionals flock to this Charlestown bakery and cafe for freshly-baked, creative carbs..
In Short
Early morning at Sorelle sees a run on steaming, sweet blueberry muffins and buttery, cinnamon-packed pecan rolls. Once noon hits, the kitchen starts kicking out sturdy sandwiches like the far-above-average B.L.T., which layers crisp bacon, red onions, fresh greens and fragrant basil mayo on French bread. The house Cubano oozes melted Swiss cheese, sliced pork, ham and pickles pressed between French bread.

excellent grilled cuban sandwich!.
This place has it all.Very modern atmosphere, lot's of room, internet access, very good lattes,an excellent cuban sandwich which was written up in the Boston Globe and killer cookies. And it's prices are cheaper than most alike places.I'll be going back.

Overpriced, average food.
The spacious surroundings mask the mediocre food. While most of the staff is friendly and congenial, there seems to be an inability to quickly service people during the lunch rush. The pre-made salads are creative, but are vastly overpriced for small amounts of walnut or salmon toppings over mounds of lettuce.

Nice space, horrible baked items.
While the atmosphere is airy and great for long conversations, all the baked goods I've tried have been horrible. The scones are bland and doughy, the hermits are flavorless, and the lemon bar is the most disgusting baked good I've ever tried (it doesn't have any lemon flavor!). The sandwiches and paninis here are great and the people are nice though.

sorelle cafe A BIG LOOK.
Last weekend I had the oportunity to visit Sorelle cafe when in Charslestown. I stopped by the old store but was eager to see there new spot. Wow, what a surprise, LARGE is what comes to mind.
Morden, bright, clean and friendly. the cafe featured grilled and pressed sandwiches like grilled turkey bacon and cheddar! Oh, and some fun combinations like the muffalta's(salami and olive spead)was in one word, GREAT! I enjoyed one of their prepared salads with a piece of samon on top with a great vinaigrette to go on it ...WONDERFUL!
I loved being able to watch the crowd go by LOTS of glass!!!!
Wine and beer are served, so for us a late lunch became more interesting! Before leaving we decided to try this great litte tarlet with cappuccino , it was PERFECT!
We will be back soon to try the turkey bacon!
