The North End Children's Center is the combination of two historic children's programs and has provided childcare and early childhood education for the children of the North End of Boston for more than a century.

At the North End Children's Center, our students discover their world in many exciting ways through art, music, computers, games, group activities and one-on-one time with teachers and foster grandparents.

Children engage in fun activities with meals provided and also learn the importance of giving back to the community. There are weekly trips to the library, frequent visits to a nearby adult care center and plenty of time at a local playground. Our staff, all trained in early childhood development, meet twice a month to discuss ways of continually improving our care.

We provide a warm and caring environment in which children learn to respect themselves and others.

Twice a month, children visit the Adult Day Center at Villa Michaelangelo and enjoy music and other fun activities.

Fundraising

Special fundraising events are held annually and alternate between Cystic Fibrosis, Muscular Dystrophy and Easter Seals. Children enjoy marching, hopping and skipping to help us raise money; they also "Trick-or-Treat for Unicef" each year.
