In Short – Boston's finally has a top-shelf candy store in the form of this colorful Newbury Street shop. Children of all ages spend their allowance money on expensive, hard-to-find treats like imported British candy bars and fuchsia M&Ms (over 20 colors are available). Other unique attractions include a make-your-own Pixy Stix station and a wall of Pez containers. The store stays open until midnight--ideal for couples looking for a sweet finish to a night on the town.

My favorite store in the greater Boston area!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

by ilikesweets

I love this store! They play wonderful music, the staff is always friendly (cute college girls age 18-23 called "Sugar Angels" work there) employees and an incredible selection from toys/trinkets, PEZ, chocolate and fruity bulk candy, imports (amazing selection of candy from EUR and Canada), candy from anyone's childhood, etc. First reviewer is a total moron. Guess what honey? You are ON NEWBURY STREET not at a mall in Western Massachusetts or Des Moines, Iowa. It is going to be expensive. I can't even imagine what their overhead, etc. is. Anyway, I love this place and drive 25+ minutes (without traffic) three times a week to shop there. I am excited to hear that they are opening a bunch of stores soon (Dedham, Vegas, NYC, Philly, etc.)

  • Pros: great music, cute employees, good prices for Newbury St.
  • Cons: parking

$48 for some candy -- OVERPRICED!! (understatement)

by julie6130

i cant believe what i am reading from these other 3 reviewers. my husband and i popped in there after dinner (yes, i will agree, very convenient hours) and bought 4 chochkie joke gifts at $5 each and two bags of mixed candy (about 1/4 filled) -- skittles, swedish fish, mike n ikes in one and choco or yogurt covered raisins in another -- and i am not kidding: our total was $48. for candy. we didnt realize that their pricing was by the QUARTER pound, not by the pound. the mixed bag candy we bought could have been purchased at walgreens for drastically cheaper.

if you are looking for off-the-wall candy, then go here. if you just want basic run-of-the-mill candy, please go to walgreens and save your $$.

  • Pros: great hours and huge 'old school' candy variety
  • Cons: WWAAAYYYY TOO EXPENSIVE!!!!

Totally Amazing

by qookla

This candy store is amazing. WOW!! If you don't find the candy you're looking for here...then they don't make it. This place is great for sugarholics. Try the 3 flavored taffy strips. They're my fave!! You should definitely go and check this store out.

  • Pros: Variety, Freshness, Staff
  • Cons: no
