Paula Young Catalog and my dead mother. My mother passed away in 2009. I have tried repeatedly to STOP the catalogs from being sent to my home, addressed to my mother. Since 2009 I have had FOUR different conversations with the Paula Young "Customer Service" call center. All four times the representative assured me that my mother's name and account would be removed or deactivated. I still continue to receive the catalogs. I got one just yesterday!

Now there are three possibilities that I can see. One is that the database for catalogs does not allow addresses to be removed or disabled. That would be the height of stupidity. Another scenario is that the call center people follow a process to remove or disable addresses that does not in fact do anything. That wouold be just plain ridiculous. The third and most ominous is that the company intentionally sends my dead mother catalogs hoping that this insensitive and futile process will somehow make customers of her son and grandsons. That is wasteful, rude and just bad business.

Unless and until my mother is removed from the Paula Young database and I stop receiving catalogs, I will post this on every website, review forum and consumer community I can possibly find. I can only hope that I find the executive responsible for handling "Customer Service".

Don't waste your money. I order a wig a week before I went out of town. I did not receive it before I left town for a week. Upon my return, I got the wig and was not satisfied with the quality. I got a RA# and returned the wig on within the 30 day return window. I finally got my credit and it had a restocking fee deducted. When I called to find out why, the customer service people told me that they didn't receive it within the 30 days. Luckily I have a confirmation to prove they did. Unfortunately, I believe this is a ploy to charge restocking fees to anyone not satisfied with their product. Don't waste your money!

Wigs are the in thing. Well I have Paula young's Phoebe wig I bet you don't know that if you are careful with using some hair combs or a head band you can easily create a updo with this wig now I'm not saying brush,yank or stretch the fibers but you can change your look, personally I'm hooked on wigs I don't really need them yet I LOVE the different styles and compared to my real hair wigs are the thing I would not think about going to a salon think about the money you could be saving with a wig you don't want to take off these wigs never grow out of their fixed style,I plan on getting another one but in a different color yep the same Phoebe wig.

marilyn monroe wig for 100.00. I wanted a really nice marilyn monroe wig. Not an i party wig and not a 100.00 wig. wasn't there something in between? Yes, i found it on line at Bruna Costumes in Prov. R.I. They have beautiful wigs that are washable, so a good quality for about 20.00 now that 's more like it.
