Best Haircut I have had in Boston. If you are looking for a great haircut with a stylist that knows what he is doing then use Daniel from this salon. As a guy, I have never been loyal to a salon here in Boston, but my wife found these guys off of CS and loved them. My wife looks hot too!! It's small, but thats what great about it. You dont have to deal with the nonsense of the larger Salons, speak to the other stylists, and have a good time.

Best place for makeup and hair in Boston. I first went to a makeup class at DH Studios and have now found my most favorite place. DH is run by Daniel Hernandez who is a makeup artist, hair stylist, clothing designer, and personal stylist. Daniel is a wonderful teacher and really knows his stuff. He also makes his own makeup. I love his tinted moisturizer . He asks you to bring your own makeup to your consultation and will use his if you want. He doesn't pressure you at all to buy his stuff, (but it is worth to buy his!), but rather shows you how to use what you've got.

I love this place and specifically Daniel. I just had my haircut and he is as talented at that as he is makeup and designing clothes. I walked in there without a specific idea, but knew certain things I didn't want. What he created is so great and between hair and makeup I have never looked better.

UPDATE:

I have now been going to Daniel for close to 2 years. I am still so happy with him and it keeps getting better. Every haircut is fabulous and I have never been disappointed. I religiously use his makeup, specifically the tinted moisturizer, concealer, and eye shadow.

On top of all of that Daniel, has expanded his business. He now has a back room for makeup. It is HUGE. He has several make up stations and lots of room for the classes that he conducts (I found him through a Boston Adult Education class). He is developing new products all the time and refining those that he has.

He also does facials and skin care! He has another quiet, nice back room for that. He did a little work on my skin for my wedding and used a machine that I have never seen before to work on my blemishes and white heads. He explained it to me and I was amazed.

Daniel did the hair and makeup for my wedding. He created my hair style using a pic that I brought in of Dita Von Teese. He added his own flair to it and it came out beautifully. I was beyond happy with it.
