Nice Music Shop. I have been going to Matt's music for 2 years taking up guitar later in life was not easy, but the staff there is great. I have purchased quite a few pieces of equipment and have always found my experiences good and when looking around for prices they always beat what is out there. The location is easy to find right on the main route near South Shore Hospital. I recommend them to anyone looking at doing anything musical

Great Overall Experience. I was searching for the right spot for my kids to take piano and guitar lessons all over the south shore. I visited a few places, talked to some folks that were willing to come to my home to give lessons, but when I called and then visited Matt's Music in Weymouth my search ended. The staff is professional, the facility is well maintained. My kids LOVE going to lessons each week. The price is very reasonable the quality is outstanding. Thanks Matt's Music!

Great products, great service, very knowledgeable!. I've known Matt for a long, long time... since he was located in Hanover, MA. I've purchased a bunch of stuff from him... drum set, music lessons for my kids and an electric piano/amp setup. Matt and his staff are always responsive, helpful and they know their products!

I always compare Matt's prices to the big box stores and Matt is cheaper... and I prefer to support a local store rather than a monster chain store. Great website too!

Matts Music ROCKS!. I found out about Matt's Music when I was in High School, and I've been a loyal customer ever since. After shopping around all of the megastores, I strolled into Matt's and he beat every other price that I had been quoted. Since then, I've bought 2 guitars from him (electric/acoustic) and he's even helping me put together a drum set!

His website is always up to date, and I really love spending time in the shop.

A great find on the South Shore!. What a great find! Matt and his staff were really helpful when I was looking for a guitar for my son. I really didn't have a clue, but they answered all my questions and my son got the guitar that he's always wanted. And at a great price. Thanks, guys! See you next time. Maybe for that cool red burst Suhr (sp?) guitar...WOW!

In your hands in three weeks . . . I mean eight. I ordered a guitar through this stores website. It turns out just because he has it on his website doesn't mean its in the shop, and that he would have to order it for me. (not a problem). Then I was guaranteed I would have the guitar in my hands in three weeks.Sounded good to me After 6-8 weeks of constant phone calls and him blaming ESP he finally snagged a guitar off of someone else s order and got it to me. So the next guy probably had to go through the same thing. I also ordered a hard case for the same guitar and never got it. Thankfully i didn't pay for it yet. Do yourself a favor and order your gear through a more reliable store.

Sorry we weren't able to deliver in a more timely manner. Many times the manufacturer (ESP in this case) gives us an estimated time of arrival and then changes it to a later date. I hate to say it but this happens a lot with many of the companies in the music industry. We try to be as communicative as possible with the customer when delays like this happen and although it's out of our control, we accept responsibility for you having to wait longer than expected and apologize for the inconvenience.

BUYER BEWARE!!!!!. I recently purchased an item from this store. The item does not work properly & they refused to return it!! They told me the used unit worked perfectly, however it does not! Just be careful! I'm out a few hundred dollars & dont want others to do the same!

Excellent selection, great staff!. Saw Andy Timmons doing a Mesa Boogie clinic here a few nights ago. Lots of high end stuff like Mesa Boogie, PRS and Gibson Custom Shop. Cool guys working there too, check them out!
