From lighting to barware, from forks to wallpaper, Lekker has all the makings to transform your living space into a minimalist’s dream. The boutique is divided into departments: kitchen gadgets, ceramic and porcelain plates, living room essentials, and the like. As with any modern shop, there’s plenty of stainless steel and white in the merchandise palette, but Lekker offers organic touches--like silk-screened lamps made to look like birch--that give a nature-filled glow to any stark room. The small staff of design gurus is ready to walk newlyweds through putting together a registry, or to help streamline a home with Lekker’s lengthy list of interior artists and special-order wares.
unique and lovely store.
I discovered Lekker some time ago and have enjoyed shopping there for years. I am by no means wealthy, however I have bought a few quality items there including some Heath Ceramics bowls that I adore. Buy your run-of-the mill items at IKEA or Crate and Barrel and the items that make your home unique at Lekker. I can't comment on the dog issue described by another reviewer, I have always found the staff to be friendly and helpful.
Terrible, Overpriced merchandise......
I now know why when I walk by this store, that the same merchandise is always on display in the window. The merchandise is very overpriced, cheap looking and frankly can be found at Target for a fraction of the cost. Save yourself a trip, there is nothing special about Lekker.
