Fresh and Delicious Sushi!. I've been to Misono three times (once for take out and twice for dining in). All three times I have been satisfied - and left full! The portions are generous and the prices are reasonable. One of my favorites is the Dynamite Roll and I love the peanut chicken lettuce wraps. Misono is hands down my favorite sushi restaurant!

Most likely the best sushi in the Newton/Brookline area. Amazing sushi, always fresh! We've been ordering from them for almost 3 years and have never been disappointed yet! The restaurant itself is very cozy and has the usual quite zen sense decor. It is small, so there is almost always a wait. I'd say they've surpassed Fugakuyu at this point, those are our 2 fave sushi places. Oishi doesn't do it for us.... Good job guys, Misono rules!

Excellent lunch special. If you are looking for great lunch specials Misono is the place to eat. I tried their Miso Salmon and not only was the fish cooked perfectly but it wasn't a tiny piece that you'd normally expect for a lunch special. The salmon came on a nice bed of rice with a very tasty sauce drizzled over it all. I highly recommend trying Misono if you are looking for a good meal.

Great deal, good food. If you want to eat a lot of fish for a reasonable price, Misono's sushi menu is the best I've found. There are other places that serve better-tasting sushi (to my tastes--I'm not a big fan of the excessive rice seasoning in their Don, and the fish-to-rice ratio of their nigiri is high in my mind). But you'll literally get 2-3 times as much fish at Misono as other restaurants, for the same price, and their menu has a variety of Don options and LOT of lunch specials.

And our son loves the fish pond!

FABULOUS SUSHI. What a wonderful restaurant. I have been eating sushi at Misono every week for years and cannot say enough good things about this restaurant. I have tried Oishi twice because I heard it was the best sushi in town, and I have been so much more impressed with Misono. Their sushi is always delicious, so fresh and always consistent. And the manager / owner (?) is always so courteous and friendly, they really make you feel like they value your patronage and want to ensure you enjoy the dining experience. if you are looking for a smaller, quieter place for a delicious sushi meal, try Misono. I love it.
