Surprisingly fantastic experience

I am so grateful to Durant for helping me finally embrace driving (I am 27 and had a permit for 11 years.......) and feel confident on the road. I was genuinely afraid of driving at all, and especially in the city. I found him to be patient and demanding--but in a good way. He's tougher than the people who test you from the DMV, which is helpful. He used to be a cab driver, so he certainly knows a lot of driving tricks and how to spot dangers on the road. It took about 8 weeks to get me into shape for the test and then I passed with flying colors in 10 minutes. Absolutely worth the time and every penny.

Great driving instructor!

I took (and passed) my road test and started my driving classes with Durant some time ago.

I thoroughly enjoyed learning to drive with Durant - he is a very patient and kind teacher. What I particularly appreciated was his understanding of my capabilities. As a an anxious driver, having an instructor like Durant made the process easier and pleasant for me. I'd happily recommend his classes to anyone I know!

Some things to note:

- Durant is extremely punctual, so be on time!

- Yes, you do need to drive the previous driver home at the beginning of your class, but I believe this is verybeneficial - it loosens you up and gets you back in the swing of driving - for me this was good, as I do not own a car. So book a two hour class and you'll maximise your time.

- Bring your permit to each class, and be sure to have the application form before you sit the road test (it is a yellow form).

- Last tip, try your classes driving at different times of the day and week - traffic varies, and its good to have experience driving at all these times.

Amazing place to learn how to drive

Durant will tell you what you need to know to pass the test. He has his own driving methods that he wants to pass down on to you. He won't turn on the radio while you are paying him to learn how to drive. He comes in on time and would be flexible to work on your time if needed.
