What People Are Saying About North Street Grille

In Short – With seating for about 40 patrons, the humble North Street Grill is tucked in a quiet corner of the North End. The casual dining room matches the straightforward comfort fare on offer. Starters include tuna tartar with handmade potato chips and peanut chicken spring rolls with pickled carrot slaw. Juicy burgers and quesadillas prove popular, as do entrees like seared striped bass with faro and fava beans.

Great food, great service!

AMAZING!!! We were lucky enough to get invited to this restaurant while visiting Boston over the summer, and it was truly a delicious experience. The Lobster Risotto is to die for and the Baked Macaroni And Cheese was delicious! I highly recommend trying it for yourself. The quaint atmosphere, great staff along with the unbelieveable food will make it worth the trip! Can't wait to go back...
Best Brunch in Boston
by tsaggio at Citysearch
Unless it's pouring out you will have to wait a really long time to be seated during normal brunch hours...make sure you get on that list because they can overlook you and you will wait much longer. The eggs are great and so are the pancakes. My favorite part of the whole place though is the hottie waiter that works there. Definitely a winner!
- Pros: hottie waiter, food
- Cons: loud people
although breakfasts are great, the lunches and dinner are just as great.

I have been eating at the North St. Grill for quite some time. Besides have a great breakfast menu, the luncheon and dinner menus are terrific. The service is prompt and the waitresses are very friendly. The prices are quite reasonable.
- Pros: good food, customer friendly, reasonable prices
- Cons: parking is tough: this is the North End
The best kept secret in Boston

Michael is a wonderful chef. This is not your typical North End Restaurant. The menu is wonderful. And if you have the chance...go on a slow night, and ask him to cook "off the menu". His food can be adventurous yet simple at the same time. The best chef in Boston. Truly...a hidden gem!
- Pros: great food, super staff, easy to get a table
My favorite North End Eatery.
by m1473 at Citysearch
I have been in the neighborhood for years and what can I say but: refreshing.
The North End could learn a lesson from this place that really caters to the 'hood. Michael (the chef) is always there and and is a pleasant guy to chat with, the menu changes enough to keep it interesting. Dont even get me started on breakfast. Pound for pound the best value and food in the north end in my humble opinion.....
- Pros: Food, Food, Food
- Cons: Music
