Horrendous Customer Service. I do not recommend Boston Body Worker due to the horrible customer service I recently experienced. I had been going there for about 2 years for acupuncture- Megan who recently left, was great. However, when she left they brought aboard a replacement. When I called to make my regular appointment with the new acupuncturist, they told me I had to make an another "initial appointment" and pay another $100 fee for it even though I was already an existing acupuncture customer and filled out all the necessary paperwork, etc. As I said to them, this policy is not fair and is very inconsistent with the other services they offer. (They charge an existing acupuncture customer 2 initial fees on the basis that the appointment is with a new therapist; whereas massage customers can see multiple therapists and only pay one initial fee.) Much much worse than my disagreement about the policy (I can get over the extra $50 I paid) was the treatment I got from the owner- Drew. Horrendous. He started our conversation by asking "are you done yet?" He also told me that "I was talking out both sides of my mouth" and was very patronizing to me, repeating my name over and over again while I was speaking. Let me also add... the new acupuncturist (Dr. Doan) seems like a very nice person - but she did not help my sore neck at all. All in all, they need to improve their customer service big time. I can only guess that they are so busy servicing all their one-time groupon customers that Drew has stopped valuing his long-time customers... Either that or their business is suffering and he needs to fight his customers for every penny.

Great Massage. I had a massage from Stephanie. She is wonderful! I have chronic back, shoulder and neck pain because of my job. She worked magic and my headaches have been gone for a full week, which is amazing. I'll be going back to get my pain under control, but I can already tell a big difference. I definitely recommend this place. Very professional and friendly staff, Easy booking online, and great hours!

Simply the best massage, hands down!. Simply the best massage hands down... as long as you aren't just looking to have oil rubbed all over your body (if you are you might be better checking out one of the area's many spas for a more "fluffy/frilly" massage). I have chronic back issues, and I have been to several massage therapists here some who have been here for awhile and some newer ones, and they are all fantastic. I haven't personally been to their acupuncturist, but two of my friends have, and they can't say enough positive things about him as well. Keep up the great work Boston Bodyworkers!

The best bodywork I have ever had. Since moving here from Colorado 2 years ago, I have been seeking out a massage therapist. This town doesn't seem to offer much of that. There are plenty of spas, but none with real bodywork. Than one day while waiting for the 'T', I saw their ad and checked them out. Finally, a massage business whose business is massage. The therapist asked me questions and actually listened to my answers. She addressed every issue I spoke of and even helped me to recognize the cause of some of these problems. If that wasn't enough, she gave me some stretches to take home with me and other helpful advice. I have never received this sort of attention. My favorite part of the experience was that I felt like I had been coming to the office for years. What a great environment!

I felt great for a week after!. I think the most important thing was the outstanding massage with the incredible therapist, but the great location and overall atmosphere certainly added to my enjoying this massage from beginning to end. I really did feel great for the week following my appointment, and I am planning on getting back in as soon as I can! I get massages all over the world--but I would be hard-pressed (sorry!) to remember a better massage experience.

Just what I needed!!. This place is a gold mine! Finally, a massage clinic that is really all about REAL massage! The office is neat and clean, and minus the "Enya" soundtrack playing in the background. The receptionist was pretty, cheerful and helpful--how often does that happen? And the massage therapists I have dealt with were attentive, through, and were really interested in helping me get rid of my chronic back and neck problem. The took a small medical history, asked me a few questions and discussed what they would be working on and what I could expect during the treatment. I have become a "regular" customer and am telling everyone I know about this place!
