I called to set up an appointment to have the owner of 4 paws come meet my pet and set up a walking schedule. I left a message originally and when no one called me back I called a few days later until I spoke with the owner. He set up an appointment to meet me at my apartment and I made sure to give my phone number in case my buzzer was not working. The appointment time came and went - no one called to say they'd be later or cancel the appointment. THIS IS A BUSINESS!! You;'d think they would want happy customers and good word of mouth. If they aren't responsible enough to keep an appointment to win the business of a potential customer, I can safely say there is NO WAY in H-e-double-hockey sticks Id trust them to be repsonsible enough to walk my dog. What's worse is that when I called to see why no one showed up and finally got ahold of someone, one of the employees started yelling at me over the phone saying he didnt know why no one showed up and it wasn't his problem because he wasnt the one that was supposed to come over. Then he hung up on me as if he thought I was being unreasonable for being annoyed that no one even bothered to call me to cancel the appointment. Umm, i dont own a business but I'm pretty sure you are supposed to try to apease customers and apologize if something goes awire. I know that if I showed that type of incompetence at my job, I'd be fired. DO NOT NOT NOT hire these irresponsible people.

We have been using 4paws for 3 years now for our 8 year old dog. We love the service, they are very reliable, care for your pets and trustworthy. Our dog has a scheduled walk 1-2 days a week. The same walker Chris came and left notes for us on how our dog was, who he walked with and anything we should be concerned with. What was also great was they are able to help out in a pinch during emergencies. Four Paws and a Leash provides an excellent service.
Pros: walkers enjoy their job, and love the animals, great value for walks
