Pretentious. The scene is laughable, they really try to appear elite and posh...but much is lost in translation.

However, my laughter ended when I was treated with total disrespect by the staff. I think this was part of their attempt to be high class, but it has the opposite affect.

Skip this place unless you need an ego boost by waiting in line to pay a $15 cover (or feel extra special if you make the "list") to pay too much for drinks and get poor service.

The only plus was the crowd, a lot of fun people by the end of the night. But this won't keep me coming back...Saint is crossed out for good on my list.

Decent club experience for Boston. Boston is not known for their club scene, unfortunately and so we're given limited options. Saint overall is a marginal one, a safe choice if you want to avoid the college-age crowds. I went back in 2002 and recently revisited it for a b-day celebration. Everyone was buying me cosmos all night & we didn't leave the dance floor, which made the evening fly by and feel more like an "event" than a typical night out. That said - though I can't say I didn't have fun - I have a few complaints: Not enough places to sit and relax between dance sets, cramped dance area, drinks were so small you could down a Cosmo in 3 sips. And not that it's Saints fault but the crowd was a bit lame for some reason / just not very many happy people, i.e. not many people smiling or looking like they were having fun. In fact, one guy pushed me on the dance floor because he thought I bumped into him though I hadn't. If they're going to be that aggressive on the dance floor, I'd rather be in New York or Jersey.

trendy, upscale, fun. if you like gypsy bar and estate, you will like saint. its very dark inside, but the staff was polite and the bartenders are very attentive. the crowd is 20s and 30s, and its a good place to dance, but very tough to have a conversation. lots of couches to lounge, and the drinks we had were strong. get there early to avoid a cover. if you like dive bars and cheaper places, then saint is not for you. overall, a fun time.

This place is lame. I refuse to go back to Saint and don't recommend that you go there either.

Cons: all of it !!

My roommate and I had RSVP'ed for a party and had to stand out side for about 45 minutes before we could get in. Who got in before us? A bunch of "regulars", cougars, and 50 year old looking men. (I'm not saying that they can't come out and party but if they got here 30 minutes after me, why should they be given priority? sheesh)

Inside: No one looked like they were having a good time! Why leave everyone on line outside, pretend that you "are at capacity" and then when people get inside it's a joke !

Music: Eh whatever, there were a few old school hits but they certainly didn't make up for the trash that they played at the end. They made it clear that they wanted everyone out by 2. Hmph.

Drinks: Sub-par is an understatement. Furthermore, it takes way too long to get a drink here. One waitress per bar? You're kidding. I am notoriously lightweight - I had a long island iced tea and a kamikaze shot .....I've never been more sober in my life. These drinks weren't cheap either !! Ugh

I told you in the title - this place is pretty bad.

Pros: My roomie and I pimped the system and only paid half the cover. Ha ! Take That !

There is one cute bouncer at the door. Big whoop.

Great time. We went past Saturday night & had a great time there.

The doorstaff were polite, the bartenders were there anytime we wanted a drink.

music was a little cliche, but not bad.& fun decor.

(Whats with the tall guy? he handed somthing to my girl, which she promtly threw away)

That got my attention!

Overall though we had a great time.

Cover Charge Ridiculous. Last time I went to Saint we were told the cover charge was $20. Finding that absolutely ridiculous we said no thanks, and made our way toward City Bar. Why pay a cover when there are plenty of bars without covers within walking distance. When we walked back outside the bouncer or manager (whoever he was) brought us back in and asked if we would pay $10, no, how about $5 still no. He let us in and the place was empty! I don't understand the hype of a $20 cover charge to be so disappointed! We had a drink and left for City Bar instead which was fun.

Credit Card Fraud!. Saint is a nice club, especially for Boston; however, they are a bit pricey. Decent space, but the ceiling is quite low. The music is fantastic and the crowd is all right. Beware when using your credit card at Saint; I was overcharged and realized it when my credit card statement arrived.

m new favorite place. I usually go to Foundation Lounge or Daisy's, but when Foundation ended up being closed for the night, we decided to try a new club. We said a prayer and decided on Saint. We loved it. My boyfriend and I loved the different rooms, the many bars and tat you can have your space- it's not too crowded. I am coming back. I don't love that there's a cover charge- 10.00, but oh well.

CRAMPED and VERY LOUD. The ceilings are low. The speakers are on stands making them at ear level and for some reason they still need to blast the volume to the max. The waitresses were all wearing ear plugs. That right there tells me few hours in that place will def. cause ear damage. It's near impossible to carry a conversation with someone here.

Oh I also got yelled at for laying down on a sofa/bed when they were open for only 10 more minutes. (what the hell is it there for then?)

Drinks are expensive but that's expected in Boston.

...Also City Search is not doing their math correctly for the overall rating. Overall rating is a 2.67 at the time i wrote this if you count up all the stars received and divided by number of reviews. (56 stars / 21 reviews)

Definitely best place in Boston. I am a young professional in my twenties and have been going to Saint for few years now. I always have a great time; the crowd is attractive, the drinks are good and worth what you are paying for. The staff is always nice to us, and the overall atmosphere of this lounge makes you feel like you are in NY or LA. My girlfriends and I always find it the place to be!
