Low Quality Work. Got in an accident affecting the front passenger side bumper and fender area. Two months and 5 days ago I dropped off the car with them because of the good reviews on google. I was told I would be called throughout the process so I can take pictures or they would email me pictures. That didn't happen, but I wasn't expecting it, and they seemed busy, so no big deal.

I called to get status updates and told numerous times I would get a call back. Never did, but people forget and some have bad organizational skills, so no big deal.

Seven weeks in (and numerous calls), I'm told they're having trouble getting parts. No big deal.

2 months in I stop by and get to see the car in process. Paul tells me he'll waive the 15% Geico was going to make me pay. That's a nice gesture in exchange for the time it took.

I picked up the car today. The front bumper is about 1.5 inches off center. There's a centimeter gap between the fender and corner lamp. The brackets, visible in the wheel well, are still bent. The bumper cover is epoxied to the brackets. Over spray all over the hood and wipers. This IS A BIG DEAL! They're taking another swing at it and I will certainly make this a five star review for five star work. The quality of the work is the number one trait I want in a body shop. If you want to save money and deal with friendly people, it's a fine shop. If you want your car repaired right, this might not be your best bet.

UPDATE: Picked up the car for the second time. Overspray has been cleaned up. Bumper is still off center. My corner lamp is now epoxied to my headlight.

Very smart people. These guys are very smart.

When I aksed the service charge, they gave me a very convincing price and brougt me there. However, once I visited there, they made me wait in somewhere else and gave me a call and notified me another price (about 30% added). They explained it was just a mistake, if I did not want the new price, just pick up the car.

When I first called to them, I gave all the information, model year, name and number. It was not a mistake. A very typical trick.

I just lost my hours and half day.

I would not recommend this center.

Great work, honest people. The guys at ACC know what they're doing, they take pride in their work, and they're fair. Don't take your car anywhere else.

Paul Chaet is a great guy to work with. He takes all of the hassle out of dealing with insurance companies after an accident. He goes out of his way to make sure you are treated right, no matter who is at fault, and makes sure you are "made whole" when the ordeal is finally over.

Also noteworthy is the company's commitment to environmentalism.

I am a real customer, they will make you just wait months. Never expect them to call you back even if they say so.

Call them 5 times and insist to talk, then they reluctantly will talk with you for the delay they will cause to your car.

(the delay will be mostly because they double up the charge to the insurance company)

Do not believe what they say to provide you such as complimentary rental car on their cost.

they never pay, and will avoid your call again.

collision repair done right. She looks like new, 2006 Toyota HH.

''Allston Collision Center'' is the best!

The 2006 Toyota Highlander Hybrid was ready this morning.

Magically It looks like new, they straightened out the front end perfectly.

Best Repair Shop Around!!. These guys are the best! After bringing my car in for repairs from a recent accident, I was amazed at the fantastic job they did to make a 10 year old car look like new again! They were nice, knowledgeable, and professional. Mark and Paul went above and beyond my expectations, and I would recommend them to anyone!

Best Auto Body Shop Ever. Allston Collision Center (not to be confused with another shop with a similar name) is the most professional business of its kind I have ever dealt with. Paul and his staff do meticulous work and provide great customer service. They not only fixed our car beautifully and on schedule -- they also handled all contacts with our insurance company and the car rental firm, kept us apprised of the progress of the job, touched up some other minor paint damage, and returned the car detailed and washed inside and out. They are also the first "green" shop in the area, reducing damage to the environment caused by oil-based paints and other chemicals. We hope not to be impacted by any other hit-and-run drivers, but we expect to use Allston Collision Center for our car maintenance needs.

This is a third-generation family business that takes genuine pride in its work -- and it shows. I couldn't recommend them any more highly.

Best Quality Car Service in Town. My experience with Allston Collision Center far exceded all my expectations. They worked around my scheduling conflicts and completed the job in a timely fashion. My car came out great! They went above and beyond just fixing the front end of my car. They detailed the interior and washed/buffed the exterior before returning it to me. Paul and Mark especially made me feel comfortable and at ease during the entire process. It was my first time using their services, and I would highly recommend them to anyone in the future!!

Great Place!. Allston Collision is the only place I go to get my car fixed. It is the only place I recommend to my friends and family as well. It is very rare to find an auto repair shop where you can be comfortable just dropping your car off and letting them fix your car but my experiences with them has built this comfort level for me and I am here to assure you that not only will they do the job perfectly, but they will do only what is necessary and be completely up front and honest with you what you need and don?t need. I highly recommend them. I came across Allston Collision five years ago when I was new in town and needed to get my car fixed. I called the Lexus of Watertown dealership to get estimates for my IS300 and I ended up asking when I can pick up my car and they said it will take a while because they don?t fix damaged cars at the dealership, they send them to Allston Collision to get repaired. So I figured I would get it fixed straight at the source to save some time. They were honest, professional, very accessible and they did a tremendous job. Since then, I have gone back to them numerous times for a number of different things and they treat me just as well every time. They have treated my family and friends just as well too when I recommended Allston Collision to them. This is the type of repair shop where they not only offer to fix that headlight that is out for free just because they noticed it on the way in, but they will offer you some pizza while you wait because they were having a little pizza party. These guys are just that friendly, open and willing to help in anyway. I will never go anywhere else. Check them out, you won?t regret it!
