In Short – Walls covered with decades of Top-40 memorabilia, rock songs blaring in the background and an all-American menu typify this music-themed restaurant. The kitchen churns out group-friendly appetizers like nachos and Southern staples like barbecue ribs and chicken. Burgers are served with hefty sides of fries and the signature pulled-pork sandwich is topped with vinegar barbecue sauce. The gift shop sells branded items like T-shirts, shot glasses and hats.

I took some folks from out of town there bc my 13 year old cousin was "dying" to go to the so famous Hard Rock Cafe. What a dissapointement! The young wait staff was very rude, they made us wait for "an available" table for 40 minutes because we didn't have reservation.. until there ok... but the restaurant was almost empty!!! After 40 minutes of wait we seat on one of the "unavailable tables". We ate and left.. restaurant still empty! If it was not a request of my cousing to please stay... I had left there right away! DONT GO!
- Pros: Hall of fame
- Cons: Rude wait staff and food!
WORST hard rock i've ever been to.

i realize this is the hard rock cafe and not some michelin 3 star restaurant - still, the other hard rocks i have been to around the world have consistently been good. here, the service was sloppy - the place looks like it's staffed by 15 year olds who have no idea how to bus or wait on tables. the food was very disappointing - we had the nachos which are usually really good, but these were a total mess. the burger was dry. and the drinks were plain weak. there are plenty of chain restaurants in the faneuil hall area, as well as historic pubs; i would NOT recommend going to the hard rock in boston.
- Pros: lots of seating
- Cons: food, serivce
just average

i went to the hard rock for dinner and thought it was just ok. the waiter was very nice but the service was slow for the amount of people dining. my friend has a hamburger that she said was amazing and my chicken sandwich was good. i expected the hard rock to be impressive but the music was just too loud and the service too slow to really enjoy myself.
- Pros: friendly waiter
- Cons: too loud
