Simply the Best. I first went to HC Studio a few ago on the recommendation of a friend and needless to say, I loved it. My career then brought me to the West Coast for a few years where I tried out arguably some of the top salons in the area. I moved back to Boston earlier this summer and headed right on over to HC Studio again. The former colorist was no longer there, but no matter. Got a great cut and the most beautiful auburn color I have had in years. In addition, the atmosphere is pretty and serene, the staff friendly and professional, and the prices affordable. All of which I can't say about some of the "top" salons I've patronized on the other coast (or in Boston for that matter).

Awesome Hair Salon. HC Studio is the best. Newbury Street service in a lovely, friendly, affordable salon. The staff is professional and unpretentious, and the owner Susan is terrific, she has really created one of the best salons in town! There is also plenty of metered parking. Valerie does my hair, but I have a few other friends who see Susan and Luis (who is also one of the best makeup artists in Boston, especially for wedding day!). So whoever you see you won't be disappointed!

Most beautiful color I've ever had. I've gone from light blonde to dark blonde with high lights to brunette to dark brunette with low lights, and each time it is beautiful. Richard is truly talented and Valerie, who cuts my hair, does such a terrific job I just hired her for my wedding. Besides the great color and cut, you'll find no arrogance here, just a nice, cute friendly staff working hard to make you happy. Wouldn't go anywhere else.

Worst haircut. I decided to go to HC studio for 2 reasons. Good reviews and I badly needed a haircut. I had my hair cut and styled by Valerie. Both cut and style was so bad I was speechless. I came home and my husband would not believe I had a haircut. She cut less than an inch off and did not do anything about layers, style etc and the blow-drying on the front was horrible. Now I have to go get another haircut. From a scale of 1 to 10 with 10 being the best I cannot even say 1.

Professionals. The atmosphere is great. Appointments run on time and everything is so organized.

Professional hair designers that listen to your needs and will always consider your personal style.

Prices are affordable considering the fact H C Studio is a top of the line hair salon.

Water with Lemon!. Who says Newbury Street is the last word in hair salons in Boston. I recently found HC Studio in Brookline Village and Wow! what a great experience. The studio is awesome. They have a beautiful space with high ceilings, original art on the walls and a warm, tasteful decor. I had my hair colored by Richard and he did a fantastic job. The look is new and natural at the same time. I love it! I also noticed other customers and how other staff did their work and everyone looked great. I can't recommend HC Studio highly enough. I'll be back for a cut when the times comes. Thanks!
