Umi Salon is Boston's best secret.. Umi Salon's owner Jeffrey Dauksevich gave me the best hair cut I've ever had a few weeks ago. My look is absolutely great. He has an incredible eye, is perfection with the scissors and is supremely handsome(!).

amazing salon. I had my hair done at Umi for the first time a couple weeks ago. My stylists name is Amy. My experience could not have been better. The salon is beautiful to look at, as well as having a comfortable atmosphere. I loved the results, she gave me an amazing haircut. In the following weeks I got more compliments on my hair than I ever have. I highly recommend Umi salon, I can't wait for my next visit with Amy.

Already Perfect. I have yet to step foot inside this salon and I am already having a wonderful experience! I can not wait to get my hair cut and colored. Lauren has been excellent helping me schedule my appointment. I needed to reschedule and change my services and she remembered me from the first time I called which was I don't know how long ago. She was very accommodating, answered all my quesitons, with no arrogance or attitude. Very excited for my new hair!

Genius. I had the best, THE BEST, haircut of my life with Jeffrey this week at his Umi Salon. I arrived with a fix up of my current style in mind and Jeffrey, within no more than a half hour, completely reinvented me. I knew within the first 5 minutes it was going to be really good. He wasted no time - He's so intense - it was exhilarating and fun. Not exaggerating here - he is not your typical hair stylist... I'm so thrilled and excited about it. It's the best feeling. I love it.

Excellent, no-nonsense high style.. They do beautiful work. The salon is modern, clean and ultra-professional which made me feel confident immediately. My hair is gorgeous - better than it's ever been. Very happy to have found this salon.

Horrible..
Although later the haircut turned out to be okay, my blow dry made me look like the frumpiest person on Newbury Street, and I was very unhappy leaving the salon, with a very important personal trip planned to start at 545 the next morning. I was so upset about my hair cut that I called the salon to complain later that day-- actually just for some moral support. The mean owner receptionist told me that she couldn't fix my emotional upset, and then, because I was so upset, withdrew my appointment that I was driving to, to get my haircut fixed- just like that. I had just forked over nearly $400.00 and just like that, she hung up on me and said Umi would not recognize me as a client if I came there to try to get the haircut fixed. I was completely powerless in this transaction and felt completely powerless.
I've never in all my life been so powerless in a customer service oriented situation and never been treated like this in my life by any business. It was a horrible experience. The price tag is exhorbitant.

I LOVE this salon. They are the best ever. Nothing else compares as far as I'm concerned. Umi Salon is the very best - great stylists - great service - I'll be going back for sure.

Fabulous service at Umi Salon. I have a brand new look that I love. The atmosphere was so nice and everyone very helpful. I love the Umi hair products! The best hair cream I've ever used.

Swooning. I had what can only be described as a total hair makeover at Umi Salon. What's noteworthy is that I had no expectation of having a total makeover. I've never, ever had a better haircut in my life. They have their own products too - and they are my new fav - UmiFoam - yummy!!!
