We have a large family and had many experiences with car dealerships. Our best experience has been at Glidden Auto Sales - if you want the best preowned car and the right people to stand behind the car you buy, THIS IS THE PLACE! Our purchase of cars is going on 3!!! Our last child will be going off to collage and we will go back for our third car! We know when we make our choice, our son will be driving away in a safe and reliable vehicle! By the way, their office is filled with testimonials, thank you cards and letters. If you are looking for a great experince at a car dealership, I highly recommend Glidden Auto Sales in Natick, MA
Pros: Friendly, no pressured experience, great variety of cars at good prices
Cons: none that I could see

When I first arrived to see the car the owner said that safety was his primary concern and that when they have the mechanic look at a car they make sure all safety issues are fixed. So I took the car out for a test drive and it was OK. I then took it to Midas in Natick and they told me the right inner tie rod needed to be replaced and that this was a major safety concern! The other problem that I had noticed was that the rear defroster did not work properly. The dealership was only willing to fix the tie rod if I payed the asking price for the car!! If I wanted to bargain they would not fix a major safety concern! I bought the car and yes they replaced the tie rod and they fixed the rear defroster. Replacing a tie rod requires an alignment to be done. I bought the car on Wednesday and they told me they would get the car registered on Thursday. I asked them to fax me the registration on Friday morning. I mentioned this five times to both owners! On Friday morning I call and an employee tells me that they do not yet have the registration that they will get it Friday night. Almost immediately I noticed that the steering wheel was not straight when the car was going straight (The wheel was about 10 degrees to the left when the car went straight). The car also pulled to the left. I took it to Midas in Framingham and had an alignment done. They said that the mechanic probably just used the old fashioned chalk lines instead of a computerized alignment and probably drove the car a bit and thought it was OK and delivered it. But they said an alignment was DEFINITELY not done!!! So Bill and Molly at Glidden charge a very average price for very poor service. They did not follow through on their promises and delivered a non - safe car. The car was a 99 corolla bought in nov 07 for 6000$ (Which is the price asked at many other dealerships so extremely average price)
Pros: Below average place
Cons: Do not stand behind their promises and are not professional
