BEWARE: Hair Fried After Keratin Treatment. Keratin treatment fried my hair! I am very concerned that the staff at this salon is not properly trained on Keratin Treatments. On Friday, I received a mini keratin treatment from Joseph. I have fine, color processed hair and discussed my concerns about the application of the keratin with a 450 degree hot iron with my stylist. Joseph assured me that the keratin treatment would be good for my hair and even suggested that I should get the full keratin treatment as overall it would be a better value. I opted for the mini keratin as I thought the full one would make my hair too flat.

I washed my hair on Sunday morning and was horrified to see clumps of hair falling off into the tub. I washed it again this morning and again I had clumps of hair. My hair is now broken and extremely frizzy. When I called the salon yesterday, I was basically told to call back today and that the manager might be in to address my issue.

$155 later I am left with fried, frizzy hair. I do not think the stylists are properly educated on this product and the public should know about the side effects of keratin.
