I have tried all of the Indian food restaurants in the Boston area (Moody St., Waltham, Lexington, Cambridge, Boston, etc...) Punjab has the best tasting food! The Chicken Tika Masala is the BEST I've ever had. I brought my "Indian friend" to Punjab after much coaxing... and he agrees!! The newly renovated restaurant has a wonderful ambience and the new BAR pushes out some tasty martinis, GOOD WINE selection as well. Bon Appetite!
Pros: Great TASTE/Aromatic Herbs

Went in on a Thursday evening and the restaurant was about 2/3 full - not sure if you need a reservation on the weekends or not. Beautiful ambiance. The drinks are great. Had the Chicken Tikka Masala (a true test of a good Indian restaurant) and feel that it is one of the best - being from India. Not as crazy about the Lamb Byriani. Veggie Samosas were a 7 on 10. Service was ok - not bad, not great.
