Let's Wait and See!

I don't think the problem is that the A/C doesn't work, its that they are just too cheap to turn it on when its hot. I don't want to go to a gym to sweat too much but here you will really sweat sometimes during the summer. Most of the time they try to cool the place by opening the small front doors and a large garage door in the rear. It just DOESN'T WORK! Also, bring your own music. They love to play Jammin 94.5 and teeny bopper music but very few members want to hear that s***. Play something better. On the bright side, they just got many used but fairly new pieces of equipment in during the past week, so things are looking better in this respect unless the price goes up. The place is clean, locker rooms are small but very clean but they could use an exhaust fan at times. Staff is so so but most of the time you have to chase them! Come on in and check it out anyway. They are fairly cheap right now!
- Pros: Location and Parking
- Cons: A/C and Music
NOT SO BAD
by pastyfaced at Citysearch
This place is not so bad. Yes it is not top of the line, but if you want to get a workout, this is the place. I wouldn't say the staff is rude, maybe a little uncaring and unmotivated to assist. Some of the machines have been out of commission, but eventually they are repaired. I think this is a good workout for the money. The biggest complaint I have is that the air conditioning is either not working or set too high to be comfortable while working out. I don't shower there, just in and out to do what I came to do. I am getting what I paid for.
- Pros: CHEAP & EASY PARKING
- Cons: POOR AIR CONDITIONING
Good Gym for the Money
by PookyNew at Citysearch
OK, this isn't one of those chi-chi upscale gyms with a carrot juice bar and cool spa like amenities BUT it has lots of equipment and a respectable weight set up. I've read the other comments about the staff and can't say I've seen or heard anything I would consider rude or unprofessional. I've belonged to a fair number of gyms in the area and this one seems like a great deal.
- Pros: Parking. Easy access to Routes 495, 109, 16, and 85.
- Cons: A bit dated
