Tips for GTI Properties

January 08, 2013

These guys have been an absolutely life-saver! We were refereed to them by a friend that rents one of their apartments - altough we realized later that we've actually been to a number of their buildings before (they manage the galleries on Harrison Ave where they do the markets & art shows and even own the gym I go to - the boston sports club!!) Anyway, we recently hired them to manage our condo association and the property manager (Brad) & his maintenance staff have helped out with a variety of problems. When they came in, we had no budget set up, unpaid bills, a leaking roof and more maintenance issues than I can count. In short order they had everything fixed and running smoothly! Plus, they've always made us feel like we are their most important client even though we're clearly small potatoes in comparison. I mean I must have called or emailed about 50 times this month and always received a fast response! I can't recommend them enough if you're looking for someone to manage your condo building!

Bad..... rented an apartment from this company in the South End. They were terrible. This was not a low end place, it was the penthouse of one of their buildings and I paid quite a bit for it. This company is lax with maintenance. Often the keys would not work in the doors, the fire alarm would go off for DAYS, and they NEVER responded to my maintenance requests. They had faulty equipment that would shake the ENTIRE building. I had guests get motion sick in the guest room. I had to call the building inspector to get them to make repairs. I am not the only one who thought they were horrible. People in other lower floor, lower end apartments thought they were horrible too. Common areas were poorly maintained, and building construction was extremely shoddy. The building was less than twenty years old, but windows were drafty already and filled w
