What People Are Saying About Bacco Ristorante & Bar

Featured Review

In Short – Bacco's first floor is home to a beautiful mahogany and granite bar where patrons drink from an extensive wine list and catch sports highlights on one of two flat-screen TVs. The restaurant's French doors are open during warmer months, allowing guests to feel like part of the action along Salem Street. Diners on the more formal second level devour plates of linguini carbonara, chicken cacciatore and lobster ravioli while enjoying views of the city.

Great Food & Drinks w/ Open Air Dinning

by BBM884 at Citysearch

Bacco is a great spot with amazing food and cocktails. I love the open air feel now that the weather is getting warmer. I have stopped in many times for the $5 appetizers after work and I have never been disappointed. The restaurant has that north end appeal with a staff that is very attentive & courteous. I don't usually write reviews but I feel that Bacco deserved one.

Also I've been going to Bacco since I moved to Boston 4 years ago and they just came out with a new cocktail list that I suggest taking a look at.

  • Pros: Cocktail menu, $5 apps, open air feel
  • Cons: None

Best Food and Drinks in the North End!

by NorthEndGirl at Citysearch

I've been going to Bacco at least once a week for the last year. They serve $5 appetizers on the first floor and have a full bar. It's always a fun crowd, not too young, pretty hip, lots of locals. I always get the beef carpaccio with gorgonzola and the mussels - both $5. They never disappoint. Oh, and the martinis are amazing too - not syrupy and sweet like some of the other restaurants in this neighborhood.

  • Pros: $5 Appetizers
  • Cons: Crowded on weekends

Best North End Spot

by stephanieB at Citysearch

Bacco is my favorite spot in the North End and I have been to most over the years. The food is absolutely to die for. Pair that with an incredable atmosphere and it's really hard to beat. I have tried most things on the menu and have yet to dislike anything. They have a great wine list but I usually stay with the red. It's warm, cozy, and makes you feel like your part of the North End charm!!!

  • Pros: Friendly, Warm, Great Atmosphere

My Favorite In Boston!

by irishadam1978 at Citysearch

I just went back to Bacco for my 5th time this past Saturday night and have to say this is my favorite restaurant in Boston. Great spot in the North End and the restaurant is romantic, beautiful, warm and cozy. Great wine selection and service is good and polite, not the best in the world, but the real key is the food. Absolutley amazing and they are good portions with good prices. I keep reading people say it's expensive, well clearly they don't get out much because I could name 100 places in Boston that are far more expensive and not as good. Bacco has great specials each time I go, but the Butternut Squash or the Lobster Ravioli is increadable. I keep ordering one of the two each time I go. I can't bring myself to try more of the menu. I would highly recommend Bacco!

  • Pros: Food, Ambience, Wine, Location, Price, Everything!
  • Cons: None that I can think of.
