Best Salon in Boston!. The staff is very friendly! the salon is located in such a great area (just off the beaten path), which allows you the pleasure of just relaxing while your there. I have had the pleasure of Patricia to be the one who cuts and colors my hair and she is Excellent! The prices are definately reasonable and would highly recommend this salon to everyone! Salon Euphoria is a five star salon in book any day of the week.
Great Salon - great people. I had an excellent experience at Salon Euphoria. Andrea is a great stylist, Laurie does excellent work. Friendly, pleasant staff, great location, nice atmosphere, price is right.. These people make me look and feel good. I can highly recommend this salon.
defintley dont get your hopes up. as someone first hand who can say who has been in the beauty business, I was excited to find this salon out of conveinence...I'll first assure you the owner is very realistic, fair and nice (nothing is tested on animals in salon, supports pro-woman run business) however, I feel the other employees there esp. the esthetician Laura ?is riding the fine line of being unprofessional...shooting her mouth off, this and that..Not to be mean, but I dont care about peronal lives and the services that were provided are mediocre... also getting a straight awnser out of this place on the phone was a part-time job... I'll be honest, very dissapointed..so overall, I am happy to never come back to salon euphoria, though it's inside is beautiful, again.ever.
Perfect Beautification Place. I have been a client at Salon Euphoria for over 2 years now and I just love it! It's so easy to make an appointment whether for hair, waxing or facials (which are the best!) and you get the Newbury St. experience for so much less! The atmosphere is relaxing, the service is impeccable and I love how convenient the location is! A total A+++++ in my book!
Love it!.
I have been a client of Salon Euphoria for over 2 years now, and I highly recommend it. The staff are professional, down-to-earth, and great at what they do! I was shocked by the bad review. I find it extremely hard to believe that they would offer EVERYONE a glass of wine, and exclude ONE person. Also, the staff are so "REAL", that if I really wanted a glass of wine, I would either ask for one, or pour it myslef, and they would be more than happy to oblidge.
Kelly has cut and colored my long, naturally curly hair for 2 yrs, and I love it every time. I always get compliments on it, as well. Laura (esthetician) waxes my eyebrows, and I feel that she truely does the best brows in Boston. She has shaped my brows to perfection. She helped me grow out my over-tweezed, un-even brows- even showed me how to fill in the patchy spots with make-up until they eventually grew back. She saved my life for my wedding!! She also gives an amazing facial.
Overall, I love Salon Euphoria, and always feel special and happy when I am there.
Newbury Street hair without the attitude.
I love Salon Euphoria! I've always had a wonderful experience there and have never once had a bad haircut. I think this is due to the fact that my stylist, Patricia, is very honest about advising clients about which styles work best for them (as are Andrea and everyone else who works there). I wear my hair in a very edgy short pixie cut that can look disastrous if not done correctly, so Patricia is certainly a very skilled stylist.
I am quite shocked at the comments made below about Andrea being rude and that Salon Euphoria only caters to the "six figure salary" crowd--I'm an elementary school teacher and have always been treated very warmly and made to feel welcome by all of the staff there. And no, I don't have a trust fund and have on occasion even *gasp!* showed up in flip-flops and shorts for my haircuts.
Surprisingly disappointing. Classy look without the class.. Upon reading the reviews on this site, as well as being referred by an associate, I made an appointment for a hair cut at this salon. This was a mistake. The experience I had at Salon Euphoria was incredibly disappointing, and downright insulting. The stylist, Andrea, pulled my hair so hard when she was straightening it that my head was shaking. She also snagged my earring while combing my hair. She never apologized, and she didn't give me a chance to say anything. In fact, she hardly acknowledged my existence. She never said a word to me, other than asking me what I wanted done with my hair. She carried on conversation with others in the salon, and the other stylists were engaging in the usual small talk which is customary when one goes into get a hair cut, etc. Other people were offered wine, I was not. I generally do not leave reviews for places of establishment, but this experience was the single most rude, antisocial behavior I have ever seen at a salon. I would have been better off going to a mall. The service would have been better, and I could easily have received the same generic haircut she gave me. This is not an exaggeration by any means. I am writing this for the benefit of others who use this service. A salon experience is one which people look forward to, and it is a sad, sad shame to go into it feeling that way, and leaving feeling pretty much shocked at such abuse. Given that there are good reviews, I would imagine that this salon only caters to a certain crowd, so if you are a hard-working, well-dressed person that does not make six figures, definitely go somewhere else. No one deserves such treatment, much less having to pay for it.
Fantastic Place. Salon Euphoria is a great place to relax, unwind, and leave looking great. The staff is always helpful, and has managed to re-book me at the last minute when I'm running late. You won't find "attitude" here, but you will find people willing to take the time to listen to what you want from your hair cut and color, and then tailor it to fit you. Andrea's haircuts look great when you leave -- and a few days later, when you're running late, and ran out the door with wet hair. Likewise, my color looks so natural that people are shocked to hear I'm not really a blonde! The people who work at Euphoria also give you styling tips on request, so you can re-create the look at home. Best of all, they never push you to buy their products, but are happy to offer suggestions when asked.
User review by tiffanyfuzzer. Salon Euphoria is clean and beautiful, and the staff is friendly. Unfortunately my haircuts have been poor. The picture of the cut we agree on is never the cut I leave with, as my stylist ends up doing her own version of the cut. And she uses minimal to no styling products, so my hair looks awful by the time I pay the bill. If you want a basic medium to long layers trim, you'll be fine here. But if you want something more fun, funky, or complex, I'd go elsewhere.
happy accident. I found Salon Euphoria on my lunch hour. I thought there was no "nice" salons in downtown, I was wrong. Kelly was able to take me on short notice, she and the staff were friendly and professional . I am so happy to find a salon that I can go to on my lunch hour , I am very pleased with my cut and I will be returning!
