best new years eve party in boston!
by bostonbabe9
My friends and I went to The Resolution Ball last year and had a great time! The Westin Boston Waterfront is a gorgeous location and the ballroom is so big that we didn't feel like we were jam packed together like most new years parties. The crowd was young and classy and we were able to meet a few good looking, nice guys which is a huge plus. They also offer discounted hotel rooms which is great because we didn't have to worry about finding a cab with all the crazies at the end of the night . We are going back again this year and getting the VIP option so we can ring in the new year with style.
- Pros: great music, big ballroom, tons of bars, great people
THIS IS THE EVENT I WAIT ALL YEAR FOR!!!
by upscaleguy
Felix Brown Band and DJ Sam L are amazing!!! I'm not usually a dancer at these types of events. The music & cocktails were so good that I danced the whole night away last year. This event attracts the most beautiful women. Where are they the rest of the year? I already booked a room for $159 and I'm excited to check out the new Waterfront Westin. Don't waste you time at other events that claim to be the one. This event hosted by Boston Event Guide is the one to be at.
Pros: Huge Ballroom, Great Music, Good Food
Cons: Had a girlfriend, Sold out early, Ends at 2am
- Pros: THUMBS WAY UP IN THE SKY
- Cons: RESOLUTION BALL ONLY HAPPENS ONCE A YEAR
Terrible
by shohne
I went to this event 2 years ago, and it was terrible. There were not enough bartenders, and so we spent the entire night waiting in line for drinks. The entire night, we had maybe two drinks, and spent 1.5-2 hours waiting in line each time. This happened even after the open bar ended. The food was okay, but difficult to get to, because it was served in this long, narrow area, where people were also lined up for drinks.
- Pros: Decent food, Decent music, Ballroom not crowded
- Cons: Poorly run, Not enough bartenders, Not cheap
