Explore a natural spring--and Boston--from this South Shore Massachusetts park.. In Short
You may not be able to find campsites with hook-ups any closer to Boston, so this is a marvelous base for exploring both the natural and historic features of the whole area. Begun as a WWII ammunition depot, this wooded wonderland features its own freshwater spring as well as fishing and non-motorized boating in Cohasset Reservoir. With campsites for tents, RVs and trailers, plus electrical hook-ups at some of those sites, there are plenty of places to camp here. Some handicapped-accessible sites are available, along with showers and restrooms. Cross-country skiing in season, and biking and horseback riding are available.
