Editorial Review for Tangierino – by Citysearch Editors
In Short
One of the Greater Boston area's most unique dining establishments, Tangierino lures curious gourmand and Arabic expats from far and wide. The dining and lounge areas are awash in tapestries, pillows, lanterns and antique tables, and belly dancers (nightly from 7:30pm to 11pm) complete the scene. The menu is split between the authentic (Moroccan spiced lamb, seven vegetable couscous) and contemporary (seared duck confit with foie gras, roasted red snapper).

The ExtrasThe restaurant's Casbah Lounge is one of the area's few indoor places where patrons can smoke. Ornate hookahs, cigars and international cigarettes are available.

Our family lives in Morocco, and visiting Tangerino was like going home. The authentic menu items were just that; absolutely delicious and promptly served. The Chef and wait staff is to be commended for making us feel so welcome and well treated. If you want good food, authentic flavors come to Tangerino. In addition, there is a smoking lounge that has hookahs and comfortable seating. The restaurant is very romantic and beautiful. I hear they are expanding and this is a great thing.
Pros: Ambiance, food, staff is friendly and attentive
Cons: Valet parking very expensive
