In Short – On most weekdays, The Place enjoys strong after-work crowds that consist mostly of suits from the neighboring Financial District. At night, social singles try their hardest to talk above loud Top-40 tunes and the occasional live act (sports talk shows are also taped here on occasion). Straightforward eats and drinks won't break the bank. Ample video screens make this a good spot to watch any game, or to spot visiting athletes and celebs.

The Place to Be Any Day of the Week

I currently work in the financial district and graduated from Suffolk University in 2006. The Place was by far my favorite bar to go to in college and has remained that way ever since. Every night of the week there is something going on at The Place. I watched the Super Bowl there with about 150 people. Great atmosphere and great TV's. After the game the bar filled up and the dance floor was packed. I have never had a bad time at The Place and have become great friends with all the staff there including Mary, Dre, Cliff and Nikki. The staff is definitely what makes The Place a great bar to hang out at any day of the week.

A little late, but....

A bunch of us went to The Place a couple weeks ago to watch a Celtics game. Great time. Plenty of TV's to watch. Tried the pizza...very pleased. Sports, Beer, Good Food, Better looking bartenders, what more can you ask for? Def check out.

Best Pizza, Great Place

My friends and I go to the Place once in a while and always have a GREAT time. We especially love Wednesday nights, its busy but not as busy as a Friday or Saturday. The staff is alot of fun and very friendly. I love the themes and the atmosphere. We always take one of the pizzas to go...they're delicious.
