****BEWARE OF YOUR CREDIT CARD CHARGE***. Whether you are using your Debit Card or Credit card BEWARE, especially if you are getting service from the Bar. This place will debit your credit card up to 3 to 4 times the amount you charged. They do it repeatedly throughout the night. The charges will be deducted from your account and you will have no recourse. After all how many people ask for a receipt if they are only have 1 or 2 drinks? They have overdrawn many people's account. Banks will tell you that you need to be more careful with your charges but THE PLACE needs to stop ripping people off.

Great after-work hangout. This place is usually packed, so make friends with the bartender. My first beverage was a 16 (or 12)oz Bud Light for $4. a 25OZ mug (which helps your guns too... so you're technically getting a workout) only runs $2 more! Make friends and get stares by just upgrading a bit. This was where our Pirate Pub Crawl led us for dinner.. and we had some pretty good drunk food: pasta, wings & potato skins.

Are you a business person? Go for the suits, stay for the frosty mugs.

The Place to Be Any Day of the Week. I currently work in the financial district and graduated from Suffolk University in 2006. The Place was by far my favorite bar to go to in college and has remained that way ever since. Every night of the week there is something going on at The Place. I watched the Super Bowl there with about 150 people. Great atmosphere and great TV's. After the game the bar filled up and the dance floor was packed. I have never had a bad time at The Place and have become great friends with all the staff there including Mary, Dre, Cliff and Nikki. The staff is definitely what makes The Place a great bar to hang out at any day of the week.

Best Pizza, Great Place. My friends and I go to the Place once in a while and always have a GREAT time. We especially love Wednesday nights, its busy but not as busy as a Friday or Saturday. The staff is alot of fun and very friendly. I love the themes and the atmosphere. We always take one of the pizzas to go...they're delicious.

Red Sox Hang Out. The best late night pizza in the city.... I see celebrities there all the time Cameron Diaz was there a couple months ago and Josh Beckett and Clay Bucholz are there alot .... Steve Levy from ESPN is also a regular... The staff is always very friendly and the theme nights very fun ...

I would recommend this place to everyone... Get there early on the weekends because it tends to get busy early....

NOT THE PLACE TO GO. "The Place" is the worst place i have ever been too...not only is it too crowded but there is no crowd control, i went one night after work with 2 of my coworkers, we got there around 10pm and there was already a good amount of drunk people being abnoxious without anyone bringin it to there attention, after spending a good amount of money we decided to try to make our way to the dance floor and as soon as we got on it a bouncer came and kicked us out the club! we asked to speak to a manager and he said the reason was crowd control, it was obsured that they didnt kick out 2 guys who were fightin but they kicked out 3 girls who were dancing, very unprofessional and very bad judgement call

Not A PLACE for the Fenway Faithful. I attended after work with a group of friends to watch the Sox/Yanks game on a Friday night.

We spent some nice money considering the service was horrible and we spent a signifigant amount of time watching the game. Around the 8th inning, the AC was blown on us and I asked the waitress who was in charge of the AC, it turns out the CO-Owner tried to freeze us out of there for the dance crowd to come in.

After asking to turn it down the AC was turned UP on us. We had to sit there with our coats on the last inning of the game. I would hope that the Fenway faithful NEVER watch a game in that PLACE if they can help it, I would hope that they would be smarter than that!

Very Poor Service. I have been to The Place on three separate occasions, every time hoping that I would enjoy myself more than the last. Can I just say that I have never in my life been treated more like a second class citizen than I was by the bartenders? Or should I say, the FEMALE bartenders? They would ignore me and my friends, and serve men, when we tried to order drinks or shots. We were forced to wait for the male bartenders instead.

I will never go back there. I feel like I deserve better than that.

Great Place to Watch a Game!!!. So I just moved back to Boston after being away for 2 years and I must say The Place is still 'the place' to be. I spent all day Thursday watching NCAA games with a group of my buddies. We had a great waitress who seemed to know more about the tourney than half my friends. We were treated to a free buffet of food that was excellent and drank 25oz beers for only $5.50, great deal!! This is one of the best spots to watch a game at and I wil definitely be back...
