JANET JACKSON. Editorial Review
The Skinny
With her latest album, "All for You," firmly planted on the pop chart, Janet Jackson hits the road on her first outing since 1998's Velvet Rope Tour. The production features eight dancers and seven musicians, along with a set designed by Mark Fisher (who designed U2's "Popmart" and the Rolling Stones' "Bridges to Babylon" stages) and lighting designer Abbey Holmes (of Van Halen's "Right Here Right Now" tour), according to promoters. The title track from "All for You" hit No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart and No. 2 on Billboard's Hot R&B/Hip-Hop singles and tracks chart, and you should expect a hefty helping of new material. But Jackson never disappoints her longtime fans, and she'll certainly add new sizzle to her classics.
