The Skinny
Like prisoners of their own "Hotel California," the Eagles tried to check out in 1982, only to find that they could never leave rock and roll. They reunited in '94, were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in '98, and in '02, they again embarked on a dark desert highway, wind in their (now-thinning) hair, for their first North American tour in six years, and they haven't slowed down since. It seems the allure of the reunion-slash-this-might-be-farewell-tour is just too lucrative to resist. This perennial MOR best-seller still breathes warmth into the hits that shaped classic rock. Expect such familiar chart-toppers as "Best of My Love," "Lyin' Eyes" and "Heartache Tonight."
