Editorial Review for Zebra's Bistro and Wine Bar – by Gerrish Lopez

In Short
Residents of quiet, suburban Medfield--whether they're in the mood for a full meal or just a light bite and a drink--skip the drive into Boston and head to Zebra's. The regular menu includes modern interpretations of classic comfort fare (braised lamb shank with leek and gorgonzola risotto and honey-thyme poached baby artichokes). There's also a sushi bar and wine bar, both of which are perfect for solo diners.

As a resident of Medfield and enthusiast of sushi I thought I would try the bar at Zebra's. The atmosphere was fabulous and service was prompt. As far as sushi goes though this would definitely not be my first pick. The portions sizes are smaller and more expensive and the food wasn't as fresh as other sushi bars I have been to. For such a great restaurant in many other aspects I was disappointed with the sushi.

Pros: Great Atmosphere, prompt service

Cons: disappointed in the sushi!

I went to Zebra's the other night with a few friends because we wanted to see what all the hype was about. They win so much stuff on here we had to try it. I went in thinking there was no way it would be as good as advertised and I couldnt have been more wrong. I have never had a better meal. I had the stripped bass and it was amazing. I will be going back to zebra's for all ocassions.

Pros: great seafood

Cons: nothing
