TIA'S 2011 SEASON BEGINS THURSDAY, APRIL 14th For 28 years Boston business professionals have frequented Tia's Restaurant on Boston's waterfront. Join us next year for our 2011 Season. Read what the Improper Bostonian had to say about us last year when we received their Boston's Best award."The waterfront view is certainly terrific, but that's not what draw's singles to Tia's, open April through October. Nor are specials like pulled pork sliders or peel n' east shrimp the sole reason to flock to the patio on sunny afternoons. Every year, Tia's makes good on their reputation as the best…

The Scene – Most nights at Tia's are calm, pretty and prime for people-watching. The after-work crowd drinks in both the waterfront view and a cocktail (or eight); young moms from suburbia check their watches over chardonnay; the trade-show contingent dissects lobster at clustered tables; and footsore tourists wrestle their Faneuil Hall shopping bags. Weekends, it's a rambunctious pickup den. – – The Draw – Tia's serves some basic seafood staples, but it's the view that brings the crowds. With more than 20 tables facing the harbor, it has one of Boston's best…

Worst Service in Boston
by Brenna75 at Citysearch
The worse service in Boston! On a hot 4th of July weekend we went for an early dinner at Tia’s with the hopes to have a nice Seafood dinner. We opted to wait for inside seating for a cooler option and were asked to wait. Waiting for a table for two wasn’t a big deal until we realized that people that came after us are being seated. 15 minutes later we complain and are asked to sit at the bar while we wait, we politely refuse as we would like to sit at a table for dinner. The staff promised to get us a table for two as soon as they can. This is course leads to us getting a table next to a party of 8, at a broken table near the kitchen which holds 4, when a perfectly good table by the window with a view of the bay for two is being given to a couple who just walked in. Huh??? I immediately asked to be moved to something that wasn’t broken and was told no; that was all they could do. Excuse me, what about the three tables’s pushed together for a table of six? I asked for one of those and was refused, then was told I could wait for another free table if I didn’t like it. Almost 30 minutes later we still have yet to be seated and the manager on duty Chris was rude and refused to give us a table. We left after an exchange of words and will never be back to this restaurant.
Great Party

I came here last weekend for my friends Bridal Shower and it was a great party. We were against poor weather, but the set up was gorgeuos! I will be reccomending Tia's to all my friends for parties and large groups.
It was cold so we were sitting outside under heaters, it was more than comfortable. The service and food was outstanding. Our waitresses were very attentive and all smiles! The bartender also made great bloody marys. All around it was a great party!

I am so glad that Tia's is open for the summer. You will find me on their patio all summer long. I have always meet friends hear after work because the have such a large patio, with great views. This is defiantly the place to be when the weather is nice.
Last week we came to Tia's a for dinner and it was awesome. I Usually just hang out at the bar, but I will be back for dinner for sure. I had heard they have the best baked stuffed lobster in town and that is true. It is the best ia have had and I have lived in New England my whole life.
In the past I have always recommended Tia's for their bar, I also want to recommend Tia's for lunch/dinner.. Try the baked stuffed lobster you'll love it!

I can't wait for Tia's to open for the season! After a long cold snowy winter I am looking forward to having dinner and drinks on their patio! Me and my friends always meet here for drinks after work. The place gets packed but it is worth it! Me and my boyfriend also come here for dinner and are never disapointed with the meal or service. I can see why Tia's has been so popular in Boston for such a long time!
