“And the creme brulee we ordered for dessert was awful and bore no resemblance to creme brulee.”
“Its a very cool atmosphere, and when we arrived, we thought it would be a fun place to come for drinks after work.”
“Finally made it to Mantra after so many colleagues rave about the food and the space and i am now convinced that this will be the hottest spot in Boston in the coming year.”
“The menu was a prix fixe so I was unable to taste their traditional dishes but for the price the meal should have been outstanding.”
“sometimes a little noisy but a nice place overall.”
“We had a limited menu so i can't comment for a whole experience, but for what it was the food was excellent and anticipating great experience on my return.”
“We were overwhelmed by the great service without being bothered.”

“personally had a bad experience with her when we reached 15 minutes late for our reservation, our table was given away and she spoke to us as if she was doing a favor by providing us with a table when it is available.”
Great appetizers, Great bar scene. First time. I was at the bar and had some appetizers and everyone looked and tasted great. Saw the food that was going to the tables and was impressed with the dishes. Will be back for dinner
Unforgetable Meal. After reading all the so-so reviews i was very skeptical about my friends from Boston choice of Mantra for our get together. Now, i have to say WOW, what a great choice. From the moment that we got greeted by the Maiter D' to the Wine Director to the servers, we didn't have time to catch our breath. We were overwhelmed by the great service without being bothered. The meals were amazing though the portions could have been a little more substantial. The food presentation alone will dazzle you prior to awakening your palate. I am totally addicted. Will come back every time i am in Boston...
GREAT FOOD, GREAT MUSIC.
Wow, what a good time. We went to Boston for the weekend and were skeptical about going here
Due to the reviews I?d read about the service and food. (What are they talking about?)
Someone knew what they were doing when they turned this bank into a restaurant/lounge.
The safe vault downstairs that holds the Om bar was a great concept.
If you are looking for a fast food, this is not the place for you, however if you want to relax and savor the food this is the place to be at. The staff was very courteous and friendly.
At 11:00 Pm the scene changes from a restaurant to a lounge/club. The DJ plays awesome mixes from the 80?s, 90?s, and today, which makes it great for all ages. If you have wicked taste buds, don?t go by the negative reviews. Yes it?s a little pricy, but very well worth it.
We are definitely going back here, when we go to Boston and recommend it to anyone who wants to have a good time.
TERRIBLE SERVICE-NOT WORTH GIVING THEM YOUR MONEY. TERRIBLE SERVICE!!!!!!!!! BE FORWARNED. THE FOOD IS GOOD, BUT THE WAITERS AND MAITRE D FEEL THEY ARE BETTER THAN EVERYONE ELSE. THEY WERE RUDE AND IMPATIENT.TERRIBLE PLACE.
nice but.... eclectic menu...sometimes a little noisy but a nice place overall.
