WORST PLACE EVER. I don't know what Citysearch was smoking when they wrote their editorial review. "Sumptuous hangout for Euros in search of luxury?" Please, there was nothing luxurious about this place. The people there were grimy...and unattractive.... the place was in utter shambles. They should have been paying me to even be there, but instead, I had to pay this ridiculous cover charge to be somewhere I wanted to leave the moment I entered. I wanted to strangle the people I was with because it was the worst place ever. DON'T GO. The best thing of the night was watching a catfight outside.…
Cheesy. Pretty cheesy club...I'm not really a club person, but was here recently for a girls night out and was not impressed. Meatheads and girls dancing like strippers are not the kind of crowd I like to be around. I don't reccomend this place to anyone with half a brain and some class.…
not as bad. After reading the previous review, I have to say I dissagree. I just started working there as a dancer, and we are not allowed to dress inapproriately. We do not look like strippers, but normal people. I'm not sure if that is how it was before I started there, but there isnt anyone walking around trying to start fights or anyone passing out on the floor. Having applied for a job at another club, I decided not to go through with it due to the stripper-like costumes that they wear. Embassy is more concerned with the look of their dancers and we dont parade our bodies around like the dancers at some other nearby clubs.…
Lansdowne Street's most stylish club caters to moneyed international students..
In Short
Embassy is a sumptuous hangout for Euros in search of luxury. The stainless steel bar shimmers in the low light. The space has a subdued art deco feel with a white glass wall
behind the bar back, lit with subtle light. Furniture, custom made for the club, features soft round chairs and long, winding booths. Upstairs from the narrow lounge is a full dance floor. Music depends on the night--check with the club.…
So sad. I have been going since this Embassy opened, but had not been there in a while. It was terrible. They let people in who would not even get into the Roxy. Instead of dancers, there were thinly disguised strippers dancing with all the guys just standing around them in the middle of the dance floor. People were passed out on the floor and no one did anything about it. A bunch of meatheads were walking around, just trying to start fights. Guess if you lose the international crowd, you lose the good staff, you have to let anyone in.…
