Historic building that once hosted Booker T. Washington now hands its stage over to the likes of Primus and Coldplay..
In Short
It began as the Music Hall in 1852 and served as the original home of the New England Conservatory (Tchaikovsky's first piano concerto debuted here, as did the BSO). Now, fans come to see modern acts that have grown too popular for the city's clubs. Overshadowed by the Suffolk Law School Building, the grand old lady appears a bit dated, but despite its tattered appearance (and so-so acoustics), all seats are filled for most shows.
it resonates with history. great place great fun great shows you can almost feel the presence of great rockers past. enjoy
Snazzy Old School. This is my fav. place, it is old and it has this haze. The seats were one sonft and class, now they have a worn in coolness. The painting are falling off, but it just adds character. The haze doesnt smell, it is just there. Great place, must go.
The best place to see a show. This is my favorite small theatre to see a show. Great sound, excellent seating, great selection of shows and reasonable ticket prices!
